Culvers 5.4m cap hold = 5.4m

= 29m with -2 practical cap space = 27m

4 to 2 deal helps fill out roster & 1m bargaining rule.

When they said no pick is involved. Technically, Culver is already drafted.

(Teague/Wiggins/Culver) for (Fillers/non guaranteed contract/19m TPE).

If Memphis is sending a pick to balance a deal.

(Wiggins 27m, Culver 5m) for (Parsons 25m, Korver 7.6/3m guarantee, pick) sheds 4.6m for Minnesota, cuts Wiggins expense in half.
(Teague 19m) for (TPE 19m) sheds 19m.

Roughly 24m

Not happening. Culver is too much for a player who is going to be renounced if no s&t.

No sorry, just my take.

Memphis traded Conley pre draft mainly for cap space (25m TPE & Korver's non guaranteed contract) = 30m when they could have waited for the PG market to shake out for Conley. Then Minnesota traded up during the draft for Culver (with belief they can move salary) where Memphis have need at SG, to by pass drafting a PG (White) with Russel as their target, to appease Kat, not lose him in FA.

There is no reason to go any further than a s&t with teague and okogie or Culver. Maybe they have an offer but they want to do their due diligence to try to get a better offer. Who knows. But I'm sure it's not some 5 step trade like he is drawing up. We only need the $22m-$23m going out so I'm sure they are doing everything they can to make that happen vs trying to find $27m somewhere

Which one because I posted 2 different trades?.

The one I based on this rumor, I attached a pick to Parsons (payment) to cut Wiggins contract in half but their still needs to be incentive for taking the other half, included 19m TPE for Teague

Memphis trade (Parsons, Korver, FRP) for (Wiggins, Culver) shed 5m
Memphis trade (19m TPE) for (Teague) shed 19m

= 24m cap space

The loss of Culver softened by Memphis sending a pick back for taking Parsons to cut Wiggins contract in half.
