They locked young players like Simmons, Embiid e Richardson.

I’ve made several posts explaining exactly this - what top tier in his prime FA would want to come to a 17 win team? A lot of y’all are addicted to the losing. Y’all will call for tanks with no end in sight. We need to be better. We need win games. The culture must change. It’s why I wanted KD here, it would have changed our narrative and culture, even if he didn’t come back 100. It’s why I want randle and Dlo here now. We need to win games, not continue to flounder and be a joke. 40-45 wins, playoff push. Chip or bust is a bull mentality. Build a wining team that other players want to come join, I think this day has shown quite clearly.

Yea, this off season went soooo sideways but in two years this awkward and humbling experience can prove to be some wise decisions. There's a little bit of overpay on both of the FAs so far but it really could have been worse I guess hopefully both can be gone in 2021 if need be. Do we know for sure yet?

If Perry leverages the rest of the cap space to acquire assets by absorbing a contract or two then he might have salvaged the summer in underrated respectability. I think the media, social and otherwise, are really exaggerating it all in an attention whoring clickbaitapalooza. It's only notable to laugh at it.

Taj will remind Randle what defense is all about even if he can't play as much of it anymore, after a two year tutorship maybe he will be an impactful to winning player. Although, if Perry just burns the rest of the cap space on two year obligations of a questionable nature I'll think differently about his work.

No Wiggins! No effing way... not for any price. Tax those those teams for one year left contracts not a minute more than one year left. Add a couple of picks, some assets, do this and finish it right and it likely will work out in the long run even if it looks underwhelming now.

That's a young, fun team. They might win 30-35 games and take a step in the right direction.

Wed still have a chance to add another top 10 pick the following year, followed by x2 picks in 2021. Plenty of assets to pick up the next disgruntled star approaching FA (cough KAT).
