10% of durant is still a top 25 player.
kyrie will go better then expected. Atkinson is a PG whisperer. he will take kyrie to new heights. we have yet to see the best of kyrie
No he isn’t. Stay off the weed.
Stevens has helped IT and Irving have career best seasons so I think he was more than capable of coaching point guards. Like I said have fun with Kyrie. If Durant comes back and is a shell of himself (likely) it will be a disaster watching this guy think he is a basketball genius.
Atkinson is the best developmental coach in the league. kyrie will be much better under him. stevens offense was pretty poor.
and yeah, 1/10 of durant is still an all-nba player. on 1 leg he is still elite.
Steven's offense used to be amazing. It was when Kyrie came to town that it started to suck.
Kyrie's issue is that he has to prove to the world how amazing that is. That mentality prevents him from ever being a true team player, and it prevents him from being a leader because he cannot build up his teammates when he has to constantly remind them how much better he is then them.
He'll be jolly for a little bit. Pretty soon the rest of the Nets roster will learn they have to walk around on eggshells or risk Kyie's passive aggressive wrath. I wouldn't have taken Kyrie back for the vet minimum.
Get ready to watch some very entertaining end of games Nets fans. Kyrie will 1v5 the other team only to get stuffed at the rim, then make up for it the next possession by getting stripped trying to out dribble 3 defenders leading to a breakaway dunk. Then, in a act of great heroism he will attempt a pass a pass that only true geniuses can make, a cross court lob with a 2 defenders 7 inches taller draped on him that it stolen for another breakaway dunk.
So many games I saw turn from a 3pt deficit to a 10 pt deficit, or a 5pt lead turn into a 5pt deficit thanks to the greatness of late game Kyrie. The best part of the game is actually when Kyrie finally gives up and goes and stands in the corner and lets a teammate touch the ball at the end of the game. Have fun Nets fans.
