2019-2020 - we finally get to see if Jayson and Jaylen are worth the hype.

With Kemba coming in and the way Brad loves scoring PGs I think the training wheels are firmly slapped on Tatum and Brown for the next couple of years. If we had brought in a big or two rather than Kemba then I think we'd get a chance to see what they can do as featured usage guys. Now we may not find that out until we have to decide whether or not to extend them.

Nah, Irving Morris Terry Horford all gone. That's like 65 points to replace. Kemba is good for 25.

Tatum and Brown will average 20ppg..

How many teams have ever had 3 20ppg scorers? Plus we need to forcefeed Hayward for the second straight year, can't see any issues there :)

Yep. Seriously don’t get these everything is fine posts. I guess it’s to be expected from posters who spend months telling everyone Davis will be a Celtic when it never even came close.

All signing Kemba did was alleviate a disaster. It wasn’t some genius move.

Meanwhile the rest of our team got gutted and we are left hoping Jaylen Brown learns how to dribble and Tatum can figure out how to be a great scorer. Both fairly ridiculous expectations in just one off season.

Meh. I see it another way. I think it is very hard to win a title in this league, especially if you don't have a top 3 player. Ainge expertly managed a rebuild that positioned us for a possible kill shot this summer. While it didn't happen, he has also managed the fallback pretty expertly as well. We literally gave up next to nothing for Kyrie and Horford in the first place, and ended up with max cap room and Kemba for them leaving. That's almost witchcraft.

After 15 years of watching Ainge and this ownership group make excellent decisions, while proving over and over and over again that they are a top 3 front office by any rational standard, hard to see why the quality of their management is in doubt, but have at it, I guess.

After what has transpired the last 18 months I simply don’t have a lot of optimism about what the Celtics do.

Ainge won some trades and brought in free agents in Hayward and Horford but from a team chemistry point of view it was a disaster. Too many guys who need the ball in their hand. A point guard who was a terrible leader and a disaster for the young guys we drafted.

Surely a GM has to own that failure?

Warriors are like printing money. I suspect they may be doing this to get flexibility and may want to lower salaries somewhat if they reasonable can now that they don't have KD. Warriors may not even really want Russell that much medium to long term but its not like the Nets can trade them a different sort of player and he is a reasonable fill in for the injured Klay. He won't work out great with Curry but should be better than Monta Ellis.

Klay will be back by March/April...

Huh? What the f*ck?

GSW could do that because of Durant's outgoing salary.

Similarly, if the Nets agreed, GSW could probably do Dragic.

Max Curry, Russ and Klay..Draymond can't possibly be maxed next summer can he? What the hell is this team doing.

Jaylen , Yabu, Semi and a first or two for Draymond?

Kemba/Smart/Edwards
Hayward/Langford
Tatum/Vet min
Draymond/G.Will
MLE/ Theis/Williams

Maybe?
A new dawn will rise in Boston. ‎#StayLoyal THANK YOU TRUTH!
