I don't think anyone expected the 2nd year of Kyrie to unfold the way it did, from what I heard year 1 was fine and everyone knew the end game (Kyrie/Horford/Hayward/AD)...by year 2 Kyrie changed and while Horford put up with Kyrie's crap all year and he didn't want to play with him again his time was over.
Even after knowing Kyrie was going I don't think he saw the avenue for a chance at a championship and then we told him to take a paycut even though he's been our best player the last 3 years....
He overvalues himself and so does the rest of the NBA, I'm fine without paying him
