I would be unexcited if we signed Vonleh. Per of 13, low 30 3 pt %, 25 mpg and only 9 pts.
I mean, he screams average and was playing on the worst team in the league with 0 pressure. Not like his teammates were holding him back.
I have no idea what any of those stats mean. I watched him play quite a few times and he looks like a decent player. He is still fairly young and has room for improvement. Besides there aren't many other options out there.

Did we get anyone else besides Kemba?

Just five more guards.

Someone catch a dude up on what happened, Celtics-related.

There's a Banner 18 ceremony at TD Garden in 18 months, that's all you need to know.

Willy Cauley-Stein
7'0" 240 7'3" wingspan, almost 26 years old
Total rebound % = 16, OBPM = -0.6, DBPM = 2.2, VORP = 2.3, WS/48 = 0.146
Noah Vonleh
6'9" 250 7'4" wingspan, almost 24 years old
TRB% = 16%, OBPM = -1.6, DBPM = 1.6, VORP = 0.9, WS/48 = 0.090
Vonleh shot 34% from 3; Cauley Stein has some decent passing ability (2.4apg)
Enes Kanter
6'11" 250 7'1" wingspan, 27yo
TRB% = 21%, OBPM = 1.5, DBPM = -0.2, VORP = 1.4, WS/48 = 0.159
Kevon Looney
6'9" 220 7'4" wingspan, 23yo
TRB% = 15%, OBPM = 1.9, DBPM = 1.8, VORP = 2.1, WS/48 = 0.194
.
Two are too short, two are too crazy.
Looney's only offense was an easy dunk when all the other Warriors were double/triple teamed.
Vonleh is nothing.
Kanter is terrible, brainless, no defense, trouble. Never passed a ball, ever.
WCS is a bust. Entered the NBA telling everyone he would be like Rodman, not even a William Bedford-level player.
If the Celtics had decided to tank, they would have a better roster with more ability and balance than their current one.
When will Celtics fans finally understand that Brad and Danny, and most of the NBA, don't put a lot of value on the center position? What more could it possibly take for this point to hit home? The 80's and 90's are over. Brad and Danny will be perfectly content to get some center off the scrap heap and play him 15 minutes a game.
