Good for him.

This is a man who has earned every penny he will receive on that contract.

I get the feeling that Leonard will not be going to the Clippers.

I feel it's either the Raptors or the Lakers.

Dragic along with Young would be massive for the Bulls, and it could legitimately get them closer to the playoffs.

That would be a great move. How many years left on his deal?

God, Corey Joseph would be such a smack in the face... Just go with White and let him learn on the job. There is no other free agent vet PG that I'd waste money on.

Bulls need to outbid Wizards for Satoransky right now. That's the only thing that's going to salvage their handling of the PG situation for me.

Only 1 year left. A pretty penny, but an expiring contract nonetheless.

Not even Dragic via a trade?

One. We'd give up assets and cap space for a one year rental of a 33 year old already in decline.

Not keen on that unless Miami would throw in something of value in return for using our cap space.

If they need it to sign Butler, they may be desperate enough to throw in some sweeteners.

Why not? We need a point guard, and even though he is on the decline, he would be a massive upgrade over Dunn.

White and Dragic back court would be sweet, and with both those players could play in the same backcourt together also, as they can switch to the shooting guard spot. It would make for a hell of a versatile backcourt.

Dragic wasn't very good last year. He's heading for a steep decline over the next few years. I think he'd be a waste.

Miami needs the space to sign Jimmy. Give them non guaranteed contracts that they waive. They just need the space, not assets.

He's 33, was injured last year and his shooting numbers across the board were down on fewer shots. I don't think he's very good anymore and he's definitely not part of any future with the team. I wouldn't give up anything of value for him, and ten million in cap space is some value.

A waste?

I'm guessing it wouldn't take all that much to acquire him, say, Val and Dunn, on a one year rental no less.

I think even as a one year stopgap at the point guard spot, either to start or as a backup to White, he'd be a solid get.

Young is a better player than Beverly and third big was just as big of a need as PG. Beverly is a well below average starting PG. I for one am happy the Bulls went BPA instead of forcing need.

Say we trade for him for Dunn and Val, we'd still have the minimum left to use wouldn't we? To say, possibly sign Boban and Tyson Chandler? That would make us a pretty well rounded team.

Dragic was far better off the bench than a starter last year so coming here and starting but playing less minutes with White backing him up will probably hold him up that last year.
