Dallas apparently backed out of the 3 team deal. Was Horford part of a sign and trade or signed to capspace?

Cant Imagine the 76rs having capspace.

Cap space. Tobias' cap hold is much smaller than his new salary number. Redick's huge cap hold is cleared once he signed elsewhere. They could renounce their other FAs. Simmons is still on his rookie deal. Etc.

I believe he was signed to cap space. They can sign Harris outright with his bird rights after they sign Horford. The sign and trade was necessary for Miami.

Dallas would end up costing them Richardson. Theyre moving on from Butler regardless.

Ok, but the Butler part for Miami is a Sign and trade I believe.

If Dallas Backs out maybe he switches back to Houston and we get Capela? Need Horford/76es to agree to a sign and trade.

Or the Heat/Mavs could just settle it...

Danny will need to get really creative in order for us to get a big man. Not excited to have Kanter or anyone with the room exception, or did we get MLE? Not many bigs
are available.

Still dont get we dumped Baynes for nothing.

Are we prepared to give a full max to Brown? After seeing what Murray go, I cant see Brown extending for anything less and some team will definitely give it to him next summer.

He will probably get around what Brogdon got. The Nuggets overpaid for Murray. That was a disgusting move by them.

Relative to Brogdon, Brown is significantly younger, with less injury risk and more upside. He’s going to get a full max— the Nets just set the market.

The cap is also jumping again next summer, so if he plays well this year it'll definitely be worthwhile.

So to recap
Rozier and Baynes for Walker
Kyrie for nothing
Al...for nothing
We neted the 9.7mid level

Only center I wanted was Brook Lopez. Everyone is up and arms about AL and Embiid but Lopez and Giannis is still a thing...I have no idea what Center we sign. Maybe Boogie really is the only talented option left.

OUr big three now is Walker, Tatum and Hayward. Smart is a solid staple too. Brown has got to be on the block. Looks like Williams and Williams will be contributing next year. Those rookie point guards will come in handy too!

I'm in the stafes of grief here....but is it too late to match that offer AL got? He really is the best option. An expensive one...but he'd bridge the gap for the young players.

Of course we max Brown and Tatum. In this crazy NBA, a young player who you can control for 4 years is a huge asset.

This is kind of annoying that we can’t sign anyone, can’t trade for anyone, all because we don’t have enough crappy contracts.

We may have managed the cap too well. We ha e no overpaid ballast on the team to Use.
