#4 LOL at my idea of getting Dinwiddie from the Nets for free and absorbing Gallo w/ Robinson and a MIA 1st attached to him. Not realistic at all. I don't think there even was a 1st round pick that got traded yesterday.

2024 protected 1st from Golden State to Memphis along with Iggy is only one I recall...

Oh, and the 1st rounder that Milwaukee got from Indiana for Brogdon

It doesn't take an All Star. Get a decent defensive minded big and we'll be fine on that end. Then it's all getting that chemistry right offensively.

That was such a weird year - we significantly regressed defensively the next year by swapping ET and Sully for Jaylen and Horford.

Pretty terrible job working with Zion. Dude needs a stretch 5 in the worst way and they go out and stockpile lob bigs.

Fell asleep through most of the transactions late night lol. Warriors pick could be non-lottery pick. Bucks is a late one for sure.

The GSW first is pretty good.

Could have gotten Dragic/KO from Miami.

I wouldn't be surprised to learn that someone like Kanter is waiting for the Lakers/Clippers to decide what to do with their cap space.

Yeah, Kanter was also rumored to be of interest to the Lakers.

Yabu and RW and Theis +/- 4.5 mil low quality vet are our Centers and I’m okay with that for 1/2 a season. That gives us about 9 million plus the max we can pay Theis plus salary to Langford or Brown to combine with picks to get a big. Alternatively we shop Hayward.

I’m okay with a 20-25 start to season if we can land Griffen or Drummond for example assuming that’s still our biggest need. Even better is if Timelord uses his interdimentional skills to fast forward his development 3 years ahead of schedule.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

I think our regression had a lot to do with effort tbh. We were still able to play lock down defense and showed it at times during that second season.

Looking at the current group, we have nice pieces if they come in with the right mentality. Just need some sort of presence inside.

what a wild day yesterday. I feel hungover. Like walking to the kitchen lean over on the counter, grab a glass of water and say,

“Gah. Were we talking Draymond green trade scenarios last night? Bitching about the MLE?”

Had my hopes up on Favors and now this ffs

Looney.

Kanter is good in the post & on the boards but a defensive liability, and WCS is trash. He looks the part in terms of his size & athleticism, but no skill whatsoever.

Scalabrine just said on NBA radio that he doesnt expect the Celtics to sign anyone with the 4.8 exception until the buyout market mid season. Said he isnt getting the feeling anyone in the agency is all that impressed with the bigs left on the board.

So is the Rozier sign and trade with Charlotte off the board? There are conflicting reports.

Mark Murphy said this morning the Celtics don't even know yet what exception they'll have.

If the Celtics do only use minimums maybe they'll go with both Euros, Poirier and Theis.
