No. The Hornets can only get him via s&t.

Probably our best option at center at this point

I would love to Noel on this roster, but would loathe relying on him as the primary centre
His crew does not have good rap. Think unless something has changed with him hard pass.

I don't believe him.

Not even a band-aid?

I mean, couldn't they sign that French center for the min and roll with Timelord/Theis/French guy? I guess it's possible..

Danny has to find a way to get us a decent big. He owes us that after the shambles he put us through this last few months.

We have to sign someone, anyone with that room exception if just for salary ballast later on alone.

If we can't get the full MLE, what's the incentive to do a sign and trade with Charlotte?

And, if we're able to move Yabusele with some 2nd pick or whatever, does that helps us in any way?

Celtics are going to end up with Williams and Tacko as their bigs this year.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if it's Cousins.

no matter how I try, I can't get within 20 pages of this thread's current entries. Wish my ocd would allow me to NOT read every DAMN post, no matter how repetitive or OT :banghead:

I think at this point Danny has one more bullet in the chamber, and unfortunately he shouldn't pull the trigger till the trade deadline.

The MEM pick obviously, and Haywards expiring after next year. If Gordon comes out, plays well and doesn't get an obituary every other day from the media, than we can hopefully make an offer to a team for 2 for 1 to fill out the roster, or go for a big name.

For example, trade Hayward for Andrea Drummond once DET realizes they simply can't compete.

This is now a 2 year process. This first year is just to gage who's worth keeping.

Still think it'll be Poirier. Get ready for it.

Remember how Ainge used that MLE last season!? Yeah, me neither.

We already have rumors that he'll wait for buyouts, same as last year just to leave us with wet fart.

I'm starting to watch his highlight videos now in anticipation of his signing.

OT: It would be nice if someone put together "low-light" videos to balance out all of the highlights that I'm seeing.

I wonder why there aren't any Boogie Cousins rumors.

Not saying we are interested, but I do think it's weird that no one is talking about him.

But who's even available for Room exception or whatever we got. I think we still have to make moves to get the full MLE, right? I like the idea of someone like Kyle O'Quinn backing up Robert Williams.

How can they not know though? Surely they have someone that can work it out

I wondered the same thing. It must be that the details of the deals are not finalized and can still be adjusted, leading to one exception or the other.
