Ok, now I have zero confidence in Perry. He's been in love with Payton since he drafted him and he wouldn't stop till he got him here. The thing is though, that Payton sucks. Which is why he only got a 2 year 16 mil deal in the open market. Less than Taj Gibson. And there are better players in the Big 3 than Taj Gibson.

Which is why KD/KI chose the Nets over us. But that doesn't matter though, because the next time a meaningful free agency rolls around, none of these guys will be here.

i hate to say it on the heals of the biggest turd of the knicks free agency history but all these signings are excellent

especially as Payton, Portis, Ellington, Bullok and Gibson have team options for next year
these may be lesser players and potentially slight overpayments but they are also expiring, if we want, or reasonable if we want to continue with them

auditions with flexibility

I feel good about this terrible team
