Enter Robert Williams.

That would explain it.

Yea.

Danny traded Irving and Horford for Kemba and kanter.

That's basically the sum of it as of now and I really doubt anyone would of said yes to this prior to last week.

Kemba I'm gonna get behind but lol on Danny and his abilities to get bigs

Just score more than the other team! :D

Great deal for Kanter. That’s a bargain. Finally a stud rebounder and he won’t be a liability on offense. Yeah, he sucks defending P&R, but it’s 5m a damn year.

We can still get a defensive big, which we probably will need.

We have 2 young guys who can take a huge step forward this year. They're given the keys to the castle. Kemba is a great leader and will create a team first environment. Hayward is surely going to look better. All we need is a capable big to compete. Anyone like Kanter could be fine.

Plenty to look forward to.

Agreed. I've said it multiples, but if Hayward is back, we'll be really damn good. The ball movement and play-making abilities all around will be plentiful.

If he's not, then yes, we may be not great.

It IS hard to tell sometimes with the typed word. Hopefully not.

I'm a huge Tacko Supporter and hope he makes the team as 15th man or 2 way. That being said, I don't expect him to play at all this year except for the Red Claws. But I think in 2-4 years of playing with the Red Claws he could make a shot at a 10mpg guy off the bench like Boban does now.

Fair enough. I am decidedly NOT in the Tacko camp. I think he’s just a big stiff. I will say though that I do think there is an outside shot at your scenario. Very unlikely, but still possible. That’s why I didn’t mind the signing. Plus, the entertainment value will be through the roof.

Big body and he hates Embiid. I like it.

Timelord will get minutes since he can play defense.

Well, he just turned 27, he had a strong showing the playoffs, Boston will be his 5th team and he's good for a double-double most nights. He's also a pretty terrible defender.

He's a legit 6'11 with an almost 7'2 wingspan and around 260 pounds: https://www.nbadraft.net/nba-draft-combine-measurements-0

That is a steal of a deal for Kanter. Two years for 10 mill, I for one am stoked at that.

Kanter. Not bad. Not great, but good pickup considering the choices. He plays hard, can score.

Let’s hope Time Lord has taken the next step!
