Exactly.....Green and his D has just become a critical piece to the equation.
Two career 40+% 3pt shooters playing with Luka is something Mavs fans should be fairly excited about.

I see him as a starter and if we can sign Green we'll have one hell of a lethal backcourt in terms of long-range shooting.
That is exactly what Luka needs to space the floor and operate at his best.

Not crazy about Cousins at all, I'd rather sign Diallo because he is more of a workhorse type center that would complement KP well.

Curry/Brunson/Barea
Green/Broek/Lee
Luka/DFS/Jackson
KP/Maxi/Kostas
Powell/Diallo/Mejri

You forgot about THJ :P ... This team is really stacked with guards/wings... And Seth probably won't start, Brunson and Luka played great together. Green will take over defense ( if he is signed ) and KP will start at center. (Unless they sign Looney or DMC).

Bench will be really good again, i think this team will be incredibly strong at home again, just have to grind out away games.

I think Curry is a better fit as a starter because he is more of a floor spacer than Brunson. Brunson is more of a playmaker and would be more suited with THJ (thanks for reminding me) and DFS (or Jackson).
Defenders simply can't leave Green, Curry and KP so Luka will have a field day with whomever is guarding him.

That team should flourish offensively in Rick's system.
People seem to forget that Rick's system is more suited for team-oriented player which is something you often don't see in high profile FAs.

This could really become something special if we are able to land Green.

That’s a very fair contract. I just hope he stays healthy.

Underrated addition. Pick-n-roll mate with Zinger. Spot shooter alongside Luka. Clutch shooter as 3rd option. Run as PG with second unit. If Seth could be trained as athlete for more explosive steps and better defense, Curry is a sure fire starter to the game.

It's nice to have him back and at a fair price. I'm excited for the season.

Powell is not and should not be w starting center, just trade courtney lee for Tristan Thompson already geesh and again dfs has no business on this team for anything more than the minimum so u can pencil him out and fill in roby

I'm fine with the Lee for TT idea and DFS isn't worthy of a discussion either way. If we bring him back fine, if not who cares. We have Jackson and Roby there anyway. None of the 3 are exactly difference makers.

Not sure why you have to constantly make a big deal about him when someone puts him on the roster.

Man, NBA contracts are so inflated now.
Relatively speaking, it's a fair price, but good lord, 10 years ago Curry would be earning $4 million per year at most.

With that said, I like that he's coming back. LFG!!!

Exellent signing one of the best 3pt shooters His game has gotten much better Can deliver in the clutch. So many times last year Luka hit Barnes and Matthews with perfect passes and they bricked the three in crunchtime.

Curry should and will start in place of Brunson. Firstly, Curry leads the league at 3rd in three point percentage. Secondly, Curry-Zinger could be Jet-Dirk like in terms of pick-n-roll. Thirdly, Curry is limited as a PG. Fourthly, the Mavs needs a real PG leading the second unit. In all likelihood, Curry will start and Brunson will lead the second unit.

Seth Curry explains why he returned to Mavericks in free agency over other options

"Rick Carlisle"

is a good coach. It's as simple as that. He puts his players in good positions to succeed offensively and defensively. He likes guards that can do multiple things out there -- playing multiple guards at the same time. I played some of my best basketball when I was there a couple of years ago so I'm excited to rejoin the team and help get them back to the playoffs .... I wanted to get back to playing with guys like Luka (Doncic) and (Kristaps Porzingis). Unselfish guys. Luka's one of the best passers in the league right now. ... I'm excited about the opportunity." https://sportsday.dallasnews.com/dallas-mavericks/mavericks/2019/07/13/back-seth-curry-explains-returned-mavs-including-teams-unselfish-roster

Second in all time three point percentage now. He is a bargain.

I miss Hubert Davis.

I wish the Mavs could give him the full MLE that he actually deserved. The Mavs squandered the remainder of it that they used on Roby.
