Is it defensive IQ or effort? I'm not saying that he can all of a sudden learn to put in effort on D, but maybe we can at least teach him to stand in better spots? Maybe I'm being too optimistic...

Both. Effort dipped on the Knicks I think

Probably true. It's usually not 1 thing that causes you to be one of the worst at something...

Why sign a guy who should have retired 3 years ago? There are actually NBA-level players who will play for vet min.

He was good last year. You’re lucky to get anything outta these vet min guys.

Noah was Draymond Green, before Green was Green if you know what I mean. He wasn't on a team that was as good and is very fragile. Still wouldn't mind him for the vet min. He's a 18-20 mins a game guy at best. A winner, no idea if he's that interested in b-ball anymore, tho.

What happened to this guy. He went from being a borderline star to not playing for over a year? Him and Deng are the weirdest bball declines ever. He just disappeared

He had a lots of injuries. Plus got paid twice, that's why I said that I dunno if his mind is into b-ball anymore. If it is, he can still be useful here and there and he brings that nasty swag with him.
Good assessment:

Rumors I heard was that in New York he partied and drank every single night. Alcoholism may explain his decline along with an injury. He is healthy now, and rumors he's cleaned up. Worth a shot. (pun intended), but heck, we can just vin baker him if he starts again.

Which is why we probably will get someone else too. We all want him to do well, but lets be honest, he looked bad out there in very limited minutes last year.

Low minute? I mean, how do you know? We’ll let Brad make that call. I think Kanter can play alongside RW3. If Kanter is in 2018 playoff mode Kanter could be high minute.

Because he always averages minutes in the low to mid 20's, which is due to his game not being suited for every match up.

You're right, he did average higher in the playoffs last year, but it was still only 28.8 mpg.

So Afan called in, and he was making a lot of really coherent points. But Abby was all over the place with her questioning. It was almost like she had everything blocked. Like she wasn't really listening and then just saying random nonsense.

Let's just let that die please. There's been plenty of posts directed at one poster by now.

I wasn't trying to to direct anything at anyone. I'm new here. I think I just got caught up in all the hullabaloo. I think some of the older boys on here tricked me. I mean, how does someone even call into a podcast? I think that may have not been the real Abby Chin.

My bad, there's no heming way you could have known any of this.

Celtics are going to be a competitive team, we will see what happens after the season is over. Kyrie quit on the celtics. I defended him. Unreal. Goodbye.

Not just rumors. He has admitted partied a lot.

With this year's FA, I agree 1000%, nearly nobody is taking the vet min, in fact the only one I know is Barrea so far. So yea, I agree. Ed Davis got decent money, Seth Curry got 8 mils after a few decent games in the playoffs, Aminu's agent deserves a Nobel price as he got 13 mils a year after averaging 9 and 6. Ariza should be retired yet he got over 10 mils, Reddick who's getting abused in the playoffs year after year got big money again and then you got dudes like Payton and Ellington who are both mins or close to it, again get 8 mils a year(Payton more of a min, Ellington is at 4-5 mils any other year)... Oh and Joseph got around 10 mils a year?  He averaged 6 and 3 for the Pacers last season.

He did? What were you watching? If anything I think he was held back and should have received more minutes based on his play. You can’t develop young players by constantly preventing them from playing. His shot blocking alone is worth time on the floor. I’d like to see him at 15-20 mins per night this year.

Beta.

Completely. My cousin called him a bitch in the comments section of an IG post from TheScore. My cousin didn't even tag him. Just said something like "LOL! KD is a bitch!" followed by the laughing while crying emojis. 2 hours later, my cousin gets a DM from KD saying "Congrats!", followed by another message saying "You got the attention you wanted". He then followed it up with the weakest of insults "You work out of basements. That must suck". (My cousin's IG account is gwbasements - home renovation company). What a chump.

My cousin then replied with "Your name shouldn't be easymoneysniper. It should be easywayout".

Durant and Kyrie will not be able to handle the pressure from the NY media and all of the Knicks fans shouting them down. Every. Single. Day.

Judging from what happened on social media to the both of them and how sensitive they are to it...they are surly in for a treat as far as the NY fans are...the first time things go south, you can bet they both will question their sanity....And the NY fans won't let up until they are both ridden out of town... They better win or else...No louder or meaner "fair weather fans"' exist anywhere on God's green earth...So they better produce or else!

They considered playing for the celtics. No, have fun in New Jersey. If they wanted to play for the celtics Jaylen and Terry Rozier would have been traded. He was recruiting other players to join while playing for the celtics. Stay in New jersey together

It is. Noah himself said it. Wasn't playing, so he partied. NYC baby.
