Is that deal better or worse than RoLo?

Worse because Kanter is basically Greg Monroe

Kanter can shoot and has been good for the Blazers in the POs.

$4.76 million a year isn't cheap.

Robin is so much better than Kanter. If Kanter is Boston’s best big next year you can write them off.

Kanter has gaudier numbers but Robin is a MUCH better fit for us. Also I think Robin is a net positive locker room presence whereas Enes... isn't.

Boston 100% would’ve preferred Robin to Kanter.

At a bare minimum, you have 48 minutes of good defense at the 5.

People seem to forget Brook wasn't exactly known for 3pt shooting when he came to town. Lightning could strike twice.

Nothing about Enes Kanter is good.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

Kanter has his uses in the NBA. Was a huge part of Portland’s WCF run. He’s just so situation dependent and you can’t be in a position to rely on him as your main big. The defensive fall off from Horford to Kanter will be jarring for Stephens. Unless they get a starter and use Kanter in the Greg Monroe role I don’t see it going well for him in Boston.

See my response. I know what ceiling means, but at the end of the day it's an immeasurable, if not entirely make-believe, attribute that people apply to players that are probably never going to amount to anything near that. What does Donte having a ceiling higher than Brogdon mean? All-star? Consistent 20ppg score? What is the likelihood he reaches this ceiling? A tenth of a percent?

I really hope they try to look exactly alike. A split second of confusion from a defender makes all the difference.

Kanter was good in the first 2 rounds of the playoffs and then was played off the floor against GS.

My guess is we see Robin end up being a pretty solid 3pt shooter after getting the greenlight and confidence instilled to let it fly. also- wishful thinking but my guess is he ends up shooting it at a 33-38% clip for us

I think the RoLo deal is better than this one too. Not really sure if Frank is playable late in the playoffs
