Lebron is the greatest GM in history of the sport.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Clippers resigned Beverly. What does this mean in terms of leonard? I don’t like the fact that this is dragging out. I never envision leonard selling out and being lebroni’s side piece.

I hope the Heat/Mavs deal is off for good so Butler/Kawhi could go to the Clippers.

I wish he would just announce it already. The longer it drags on it feels like its gonna be the lakers. We haven't had a season without an outright favourite since the Lebron Miami days. I hope he does 1+1 in Toronto or LAC.

The league needs parity. Even if leonard goes to the clippers without butler they would be big favorites in the west. They got a good roster unlike the lakers.

100%. Whenever Leonard goes they will be the favourite. But at least it wouldnt be a lock as has been the last few years. The league would be fun again. Its 11:30pm my time. I feel like im gonna wake up to him as a Laker.

I definitely want this too. Kawhi on the Lakers means next season is a wash.

They had to know they could miss out on big free agents, the fallback was at least adding some flexibility.. but now they’re giving 2-3 year deals to Randle, Portis, Taj Gibson, Reggie Bullock? What’s the point?
Offering two year deals not the worst idea since the free agent class of next year is worse than the year after next. And you still have decent spare parts to trade with if you something comes. That said having cap space to absorb something is good too. And you don't want mediocre parts that impede the tank and he development of the younger guys. For now their best bet is just be bad and dumpster dive in the draft a few years.

The Knicks didn't do too bad then, at least not long term. They'll be back in the market next year if they want.
They'll bid up Jaylen Brown too.

D'angelo Russell was not wanted in LA, not wanted in Brooklyn, and now before he's even stepped foot in Oakland, Marc Stein is reporting he'll probably end up being traded. Wow.

I hope I am wrong but I suspect Kahwi Leonard with be a Los Angeles Laker in the next 72 hours. Players like Curry and especially Rivers signing on teams other than Lakers is a bad sign. I would think Austin Rivers wouldn't mind being back in LA. Lakers wouldn't have cap space for them after Lebron. I don't think Rivers would have wanted to go back to Clippers so it was probably LA or Houston for him.

Players and agents could just be sick of waiting around for Kawhi.

It would make me sick to my stomach if that happens. Leonard can win championships without lebroni James. It would be a punk ass move like the one durant made.

Why would the warriors send him to the lakers? It wouldn’t make sense. More like Minnesota.

You think he goes to the Timberwolves for wiggins and 2 firsts before the season starts? I kind of do.

So Miami, way over the cap, got Jimmy Butler as a free agent for Josh Richardson, Moe Harkless and a 1st?

Yeah, if anything the delay in announcing might be to milk the media attention without any cross chatter about Irving/KD.
