Well, we get a decent young player (Napier) for nothing. Refusing that small deal probably wasn't going to keep the big deal from going forward, so why the heck not?

I read on RotoWorld that neither Graham or Napier had guaranteed contracts until after June 10th. Their must be something more to this or we can just drop them both with no penalty. Plus we got cash in the deal. :-?

Those are the news.

Now, somebody tells us the truth.

Wouldn't ignore the Pascucci and Prigioni connections

Napier is a good get. He can help us as cheap insurance on Tyus leaving. Even if Tyus stays i like keeping 3 PG's. BTW, they could move Teague and I'd feel ok with Napier and Tyus at the point. Now, who is going to score the ball?

got to be.

Instead of Rosas having his ducks in a row in time (players moved to clear space) to trade for Dlo and being able to keep Roco, the Warriors instead facilitate the deal as easily as they do any deal and in return they get to steal RoCo. So we end up sending away a very good player on a great contract for what looks like a good player lately on a near Max and some fodder.

I'm not sure I like the change to allow moves already on June 30 and then allowing teams to slobake the rest of the deals one portion at a time.

The transactions taking place between the Warriors and Wolves reeks of something extra. From the KAT instagram post, to the Nets players coming to the Wolves, and now the Wolves sign Jordan Bell, a restricted Warrior free agent with a higher qualifying offer of $1.8m than what the Wolves signed him for at $1.6m. Something is fishy I tell you.

My theory is that Golden State bought the Wolves some time to orchestrate a side deal to garner additional assets for players that interest the Warriors. Instead of focusing on players, let’s consider timelines. The Warriors have a 3-4 year window to compete for championships and the Wolves have a 3-4 year window to build a championship. It’s quite possible that moving some aspects of Wiggins, Teague and Dieng will provide the Wolves with the assets to have Golden State shift DLo to the Wolves, but we need to get past July 6th first, so the Wolves can execute those deals. Stay Tuned! I believe there’s more.

Nobody has ever scored the ball!!! It is the stupidest saying in sports. Unless you win the ball in a raffle than you could say I scored the ball. You may have scored using the ball. Arrrggghhh. :banghead:

Gracias! I think the Leonard domino needs to fall first before teams start to really maneuver. The teams with remaining cap could be the landing spot for some of our vets. Heck, even Toronto might enter the picture if Leonard bolts for sunnier pastures. Let’s Wait and See!

I guess I do. However saying I scored the ball in a raffle isn't literal unless you take an alternate meaning of scored. I just think that saying is idiotic.

Maybe this trade grows before July 6th:

Warriors in
Teague (expiring)
Okogie/Culver

Or
Teague (expiring)
Roco

Wolves in
DLo
Bell

Nets in
Warriors 1st

These moves are mostly irrelevant. Bell and Napier might get end of bench mintues. I dont believe there is anything wierd or tricky going in. Russel is a warrior. He isnt a wolve and very highly likely he wont be

I still do not think MIN can risk adding a maxed Russell with a maxed Wiggins still on the roster.

Remember. Russell can’t get to the hoop, he can’t defend, he’s never had an efficient season, and he’s about to get a max deal that runs four years. If Russell isn’t worth a max, then the combination of Wiggins and Russell will torpedo this team financially for four full years, and that would certainly cost us KAT.

I'm in the minority and it's a very unpopular opinion to trade a rookie, but i'd do Teague/Culver all day for DLO
