Seems interesting that the only moves we are seemingly making are warriors players

Also, ironically, the contracts of Napier + graham + Russell is very close to the salary of teague + roco...

My theory is the Warriors are waiting to see what happens to Kawhi...they needed a young asset to flip (DLO) to restructure the roster because they were about to lose KD for nothing. They're well aware a team like the Wolves are doing everything they can to get him here, which means we might do something stupid and give up waaay more than we intended to so the Warriors can get more pieces (two of Josh/Culver/1st + the salary needed to match)

They are pairing their star PG with another star PG, with no small forward, a backup C(Looney) being paid to start?? Plus, they have no room to sign anyone else, they just gave Klay 5 years/190m and they came out of nowhere to max DLO with many holes to their roster?

Something is definitely happening before July 6th, if not, then i'm crazy, but I think IF Kawhi chooses Lakers, Warriors are going to move what they need to to fill the roster

He doesn't fit there and the deal isn't done until July 6th so they haven't done anything yet. What if that is rosas' and the warriors plan all along.

It's possible, just saying

Jon K:

According to sources, the Wolves went into the meeting with Russell firmly ready to make the trades necessary to get a deal done with him. They were just waiting for Russell to give them the official green light that yes he was ready to come aboard.

That yes never came. But a firm “no” never came, either. And the full picture didn’t start coming into focus until the tweets started pinging to their phones reporting that the Nets and Warriors were engaged in sign-and-trade discussions.

Russell chose Golden State.

If this is true it says that stein was full of $hit saying the Wolves were canvassing the league and Rosas didn't F' up.

How do you explain KAT's IG post with the "Loading" if KAT didn't know what DLO wanted to do?

I don't think they took him to keep him either. KD goes for nothing and you've got two small exceptions to build out a roster lacking depth.

Seems like two 1sts to get a player that plays same position as their best player wouldn't be the long term play as much as recoup to give 5 more days to plan next move.

Stein: Wolves have been canvassing the league to make the trades they need to make.
Krawczynski: Wolves were ready to make the necessary trades.

How does that make Krawczynski correct and Stein full of crap? They're essentially saying the same thing.

I didn't say long term. A while is somewhere between 12-15-19- and before the next season.

I see that as the opposite. READY as in PREPARED. Already had the trades worked out in advance. No canvassing needed.
