Quote where he says he doesn’t like Milwaukee. He never says that in this article
Obviously it's all conjecture, but the money quote people are extrapolating from is...
“Not at all. Before I came to Milwaukee I’d heard the city was the most segregated in the country. I’d heard it was racist. When I got here it was extremely segregated. I’ve never lived in a city this segregated. Milwaukee’s very behind in terms of being progressive. There are things that need to change rapidly.”
Sure, he doesn't literally say "I don't like Milwaukee.", but it's also easy to see how someone might not enjoy living in a place they described as such.

It sounded like someone who actually wanted to help change that. Who wanted to be apart of a progression away from segregation. And has been stated, going to Indiana is very similar to Milwaukee/Wisconsin.
I understand why one may infer he feels that way, but to present it as a truth when we don’t know is disingenuous and simply not factual

Sometimes you also need to read between the lines and know who he is as a person. How he grew up and what he's about to go along with everything else.
Knowing how his parents raised him, Is it really that hard to believe that someone like him would not want to live in Milwaukee?
Besides the fact he said the things he did about Milwaukee including it's a racist city, he also never once. Literally not once ever said he wanted to return. Never said he wanted to be a Buck. Never said he liked Milwaukee, nothing.
Where on the flip side, Bledsoe, Middleton, Lopez, Giannis and Hill all publicly said they wanted to return.
When Brogdon was asked the same, he said. Let the chips fall where they may.
He has never said he had an interest in returning. We even hear guys lie about that saying, "oh I'd love to come back", even though it's BS. Brogdon never once said that.
There were also the rumors around that he and Bledsoe didn't get along.
I don't remember Giannis ever talking about Brogdon either. He was outspoken about Middleton and Bledsoe. He was outspoken about Lopez, but mums the word on Brogdon.
I am not in that locker room personally. I am not in the coaches or GM office, personally.
But sometimes if you put on your investigation hat and just take a step back and look at the facts surrounding the situation, it's clear that something was up with him and the team.
