No PO. Shep >> EG.
Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.

I don't know what the terms are. Again, team is just trying to fill spots. At least it's just one year but sure, he might be donesky. He's not there for his D. He also might have something left in the tank as a scorer off the bench. That might be wishful thinking.

We'll be fun as hell to watch if IT gets his groove back.

This isn't a move to win games. We're pretty obviously gonna tank the season, get a top 5 pick, and come back more ready to win in 2020-2021.

This guy busted our ass and I'll never forget it. In whats going to be a lost season, I've got no problem giving him a solid opportunity to prove if he's still got it.

For real. Danny Ainge and injuries did him dirty.

I honestly think this is a favor to a powerful agent for a return down the road. Nothing else makes sense.

Yea this definitely is not a move to win games. So is signing my 5 year old niece to a deal.

Roster spots in the NBA are valuable. If you plan to fill it with someone who doesn't contribute to wins, then give it to a young hungry guy.

This move is as stupid as anything Grunfailed has done. It's especially stupid considering they lost Satoransky today and replaced him with two useless scrubs. Sheppard completely screwed the pooch today.

Feels like such an Ernie move

Oh well. We’re gonna be bad either way. For Isaiah’s sake, I hope he balls out next season and gets a nice pay day the following next year (just not from us)

Lol at all the haters in this thread. The team needs scoring and IT is looking for an opportunity.

If you think signing IT to a 1 year deal is as stupid as anything EG has done then I'm just not gonna continue this conversation lol.

Why not ? Basically zero risk move and if he’s terrible/causing issues you can cut him.

Barring anything unforseen, John Wall is the point guard at least for 3+ years. Ish Smith will be the backup for one year and who knows about Justin Robinson. It would have been nice to sign a guy like Quin Cook and have him come back home but I guess that's not going to happen. Maybe he wanted a bigger role not just for one season. That's why it wasn't worth keeping Sato for $10M a year or getting another veteran backup for starter's money. IT will get his chance to audition and show he still has something left in the tank.
