Well, at least dude is admitting he may have been wrong. Because between Windhorst and WOJ you'd think the Clippers had this in the bag since Leonard left the Spurs.

Should you be annoyed at Windhorse for sharing his lack of knowledge.... or RealGM for flipping it around and presenting it like news?

Kawhi has his last meeting scheduled with Toronto regardless of his thinking. Danny Green who is better than some of the mid-tier players who have already inked deals in free agency is waiting on standby for Kawhi's decision because he would prefer to stay in Toronto himself and try to repeat. I read Raptors have a conditional contract offer for Danny Green only if Kawhi resigns. Apparently if Kawhi bolts - Raptors will plan on trying to facilitate some sign and trade with whatever team he is going to so they can get a traded player exception but if they do that they will become a hardcap team (via cba rules and Marc Gasol picking up his $26M option) so even though they own Danny Green's birdrights they cannot resign him to a competitive contract relative to his market value even if he took a small discount. Also term is another issue if Kawhi doesn't resign with Raptors then they would probably at max offer Green a two year deal in a market where he likely has multiple 4 year offers on the table to begin with.

It is this thinking that makes me think Kawhi is likely resigning with Raptors and Danny Green knows this and likely has a four year contract offer with the Raptors on hold based on Kawhi's impending decision. Why else would Green sacrifice his own financial security and other potential title contention opportunities to wait for Kawhi who is deciding whether to leave a franchise he just won a championship for? Lakers brass including Magic seem to be in over their heads again just like they were in 2015 and 2018 when they thought they were going to sign Lamarcus Aldridge and Paul George in free agency for nothing. The only reason they even have Anthony Davis is courtesy of the the classless tampering and bullying of Rich Paul, Lebron and company. Lmfao I wonder if Kawhi really wants to be part of this mess? I wonder if Uncle Dennis realistically thinks he will get the Rich Paul power and treatment with the Lakers? I wonder if Kawhi and his people have reached out to Dwight Howard and Kyrie Irving - the last two superstars to bail on playing for the lakers and with Lebron who both saw their reputations slandered. And in Dwight's case the laker's medical staff's handling of his rehab post back surgery with the Orlando Magic maybe a reason why he has gone under the knife multiple times since with other teams like the Wizards since he bailed on the lakers. There was no load management back then on that last Lakers superteam experiment where Dwight did all the heavy lifting while Nash was perpetually injured, Gasol was having mood swings and a clear bout of depression and kobe was being kobe till he blew his Achilles before Kawhi's Spurs at the time swept the 2013 Lakers in the first round.

Giannis will stay in Milwaukee. But if he does ever opt-out, he is going to the Raptors due to the long family connection with Raptors' team president Masai Ujiri.

Masai has already been tampering and talking about their relationship in his closing presser. He is the reason why Giannis is in the NBA today. If Giannis were to ever do the unthinkable and leave Milwaukee, he is going where Masai is.

its great that you guys lucked out and got Kawahi and a chip but in 2 yrs Lowry will be toast, Marc is already toast, Ibaka will also be toast if he's still even on the team...so pair up with Siakam or AD/Leonard still in their late 20's?

Lebron will be playing with another team by the time his 4 years are up with Lakers. Its a forgone conclusion he will retire a Cavalier but not sure if he will play for them and if he does it will be past his prime years.

Lebron won Cavaliers a title he doesn't have to retire with them or play for Dan Gilbert again - his legacy is enshrined there. Lebron has been on the record that he still wants to be playing in the league for his son's rookie season in the nba. That year is tbd because the nba is getting rid of the one and done rule some time around 2021 I think while Lebron just like Shaq has said he wants his kid to play in the NCAA and still get a college degree once his playing career is over. I don't know how good Bronny Jr will be when he is eligible for the draft or when he chooses to enter it. And who is to say he won't play 4 years in college and even get a degree? His family isn't desperate for cash and lmfao Uncle Rich Paul will likely be his agent so there won't be any secret bribes to go to a specific school, sign with a specific shoe company or declare for the nba draft at a specific time like with most of the poor and middle class families raising nba and ncaa athletes that are projected to become superstars.

No it isn't. LeBron set up that contract so that he can go play with his son when he enters the league. It expires the year his son would get drafted.

Kawhi should join, win another trophy with LeBron and AD. Then take over the team completely once LeBron hangs em up
