Get Porier and call it a day...play the Williamses and let them develop...what is the point of adding an average veteran for vet minimum?

I’m hearing that Darrun Hilliard most likely will sign with CSKA Moscow. Another former Baskonia player Vincent Poirier was/is on CSKA shortlist, but big man might sign with NBA team. Boston Celtics were the front-runners, I was told, but more NBA teams are in the mix.

As the journalist Kevin Bradbury has confirmed, Vincent Poirier would be close to signing a three-year contract with the Boston Celtics. A hard news for the team from Vitoria (and for teams that were behind the French power forward Barça Lassa and CSKA) to see how his star pivot would leave the league heading to the United States.

If it's a 3 year contract at 3.5 mil, would that work using the vet minimum? Do we still have the BAE or has that disappeared?

Does Poirier shoot threes?

Watching highlights just looks like a lot of dunks.

Every video I have seen of him just has him playing the traditional big man roll.

I don't know anything about Poirier but I'm glad we're going after more big bodies. We pretty much know what we'll get from Kanter; now we're playing a small bet that one of Poirier or Williams can play significant minutes as well.

I feel like I'm beating a dead horse but I still think we need to move a wing player for a real starting big man.

Viet Minh.
No BAE as of now. Depends on what else Zarren can cook up.

In 34 games with Baskonia last season, he attempted two three pointers, and hit one. So he's a high percentage, low volume three point shooter.

Hopefully his defence is good. Don't need another big with questionable defence.

We might actually try to be a good rebounding team under Brad!

This is what I'm concerned about as well.
