No malcontents on the roster seems to be the m.o. this year. Good plan, Ainge. Good plan.

I tend to agree with this. Of all our bigs, he's the longest tenured. He knows Brad's schemes the most. Not that that's saying much.

FUN FACT: in 261 possessions, the four-man lineup of Brown-Tatum-Hayward-Theis scored 116.5 points per 100 possessions and limited opponents to 95.8 points per 100 possessions. That net rating of 20.6 pts/100 poss and defensive rating are both in the 99 percentile among four-man lineups w/ at least 100 possessions.

Great signing.

This team is coming together.

Progression from the jays and big year from Gordon and we will be atop the East.

Way to go Ainge!

Assuming that Carsen Edwards gets a contract, we now have 14 guys on the roster with one spot left if we want to fill it.

Contract would have to be for a Veteran's minimum.

We could have the Dancing Bear and the Tree of Pear on the same team.

If Yabusele actually plays in SL, then this is his last hurrah.

i hear he's officially changing his name to yabusalaryfiller.

danny will keep him around until the deadline for trade purposes.

We're running out of roster spots though. Would rather make a move now that gets us a player with higher salary and is at least serviceable on the floor.

I still contend that Yabusele is not an NBA player. Would love to trade him, but I don't think he has any trade value whatsoever.

If I know Ainge, we're going have 16 Contracts. Probably 1 or 2 partially Guaranteed.

I think he had a bad season last year due to his foot injury. Kind of just got lost in the shuffle. I expect him to bounce back and show us more of what he showed us in 2017-18.

Baynes injuries force him into a role he’s not suited.

...and yet the team had elite offense and defense when he was on the floor with our three wings. For role players, I'll take team impact over individual performance any day.

I like Theis. Glad he'll be back.

But man...idk that there's going to be a time where I feel 'good' about who's on the court at the 5

I love this signing but I wish it was 1 year 9 million so we can trade for Horford type salary before deadline. Maybe we can anyway....too lazy to check.

It could also mean that this year is a write off and next off season Danny has 15 million in expiring contracts plus picks to make something happen.

Comes down to Robert Williams. If he can stay out of foul trouble and look like he did as a rookie in non-garbage time.... they'll be fine at the 5. If he can't, there'll be problems.

It's not my money but would have been good to sign Theis at a higher value so that we could better match salaries in a trade. The lack of moveable filler salaries has seemed to limit options available this offseason and will continue to be a problem in the future unless they are willing to move a major piece.

Cool. Theis was so underrated - can shoot - run the court and block some shots.

So the C's now have three real centers -- in Kanter, Poirier, and Williams -- who can't shoot the 3.
Brad's gonna need to adjust. (Either that or he's gonna wear out Theis.)

On the other hand, they all can rebound, so his team has likely switched a weakness to a strength.

He will have a lot more opportunities to shoot the three this season. That's one the areas that showed improvement from his first to second season.
