Mudiay stinks, but it's OK if your third PG stinks. If it's true that the Jazz could have kept Neto, they made the wrong move here to choose Mudiay.

Not impressed by this signing. Would have preferred a dozen other point guards/combo guards that actually have a skill that could be useful. Oh well, maybe the Jazz can shape him into a serviceable backup.

C'mon, this is a damn good signing. A 23 year old athletic guard for the minimum. Someone that they obviously want to try and develop. I remember when Mudiay was considered a potential #1 overall pick. He may just need some proper development. Zanik is killing it.

I couldn't be more stoked about this signing. Hell yeah! Shocked that some of you don't like it. Awesome signing!

Who is a better prospect, Mudiay or Grayson Allen? Allen is one year older.

This will be good for his career. He will play, and will surprise. To me this means exum is being shopped. Raul could still be back.

I see why you like it, it's a good flier on a guy who actually has some potential. He's probably a better prospect than Grayson.

Strange one but low risk. He doesn’t have the high reward potential thought of 3 years ago but I can’t complain about this as a minimum player.

A low risk, young player with potential. I'll take it.

If the tweets are true, and Mudiay lends himself to learning and working hard on his end, it could work out nicely for both parties.

If not, oh well. Short deal. Finally, a PG rental I can get behind.

We traded for a star player, signed a contested FA, got someone on a MIN who wanted to chase wings, and signed a former elite prospect because he wants to develop here.

You may not like every move, or what we paid to get them done...but it's absolutely true that the Jazz have changed their perception around the league. This comes much to my surprise and I'll gladly eat crow. This is not what I expected at all from the FO.

This is what D-Will tried to do. But he lacks the charisma and star power that Mitchell brings. Also, it helps that Salt Lake City is a different place than it was a decade ago, in a good way.

Hasn't done much but is still very young but finished New York very strong last year. So if that carries over it'll become a very good signing, Very good and I'm happy with the move.

I'm not saying he's the next coming of Siakam, but he just turned 23 last year and had a much better year in NY, FOR THE KNICKS, so with us, hey he could improve. He basically put up 20ppg PER36 and wasn't too inefficient. It's hard to put up a lot of shots and still be efficient. He's got work to do, but there is little pressure, he's basically our 5th guard after Conley, Mitchell, Royce, and Exum. He's a combo guard too, so that's nice. It's just amazing how many scorers we added this year:

Conley: 21ppg
Bojan: 18ppg
Mudiay: 15ppg
Green: 12ppg

Davis isn't a scorer, but he averaged 17rpg PER36!

I just realized Mudiay was drafted by Denver... he about to become an all-star now.

This was a pretty big surprise to me. My initial reaction was not pleased as I think Neto is decent. I think the real motivation behind this is not just athleticism, and potential... but Mudiay is a 6'5 PG... He's big, he's got length, and he's quite athletic. If he's willing to work and be a team player... to be on board with dedicating real effort to defense... I think he could end up being a phenomenal signing for this team. There are a lot of "ifs" in this, but he's definitely got potential.

I think the Jeff Green signing is under the radar awesome signing. Really happy about that one. Great fit with the roster. I've always thought he was an underrated, and underutilized player.

This is a mega long shot, but I can see the Jazz wanting to develop a dude who has the POTENTIAL of playing alongside Donovan in the future. Conley has only got 2-3 years left max in his prime. Between Mudiay and Exum, you would think at least one of them would break out at some point. Both are big, athletic guards. Those don't grow on trees. The Jazz must really think it's important to get Donovan a longterm running mate in the backcourt if they made this signing and kept Exum.
