As far as gaming I'm playing Bloodstained right now. If you are a Metroidvania or Igavania fan you should definitely check it out.

How are you liking Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn? I've been considering reading it soon.

This is the sequel trilogy Last King of Osten Ard I'm reading now. Memory, Sorrow, Thorn is great is a must read if you are a fantasy fan, though. It's very influential as far as modern fantasy. I re-read it in 2017 to get ready for this new series and enjoyed it just as much as I did the first time I read it back in 2004.

I didn't like Annihilation, but did like Ex Machina and I Am Mother. This Danish girl steals the show with her acting.

Ex Machina felt a little derivative of other stuff, but they all borrow from each other in sci fi. I enjoyed it and I typically hate newer movies.

Just saw Spider-Man: Far from Home. It was good. I really enjoyed it.

Linda Rondstadt was amazing. Inspired by the summer league thread, I listened (again) to a few of her songs. One was by Hank Williams Sr. Another was by the Rolling Stones. She was competent if not particularly special in a virtuoso operetta showpiece. And that wasn't nearly the extent of her breadth.

Also, she was hot.

Haha. I thought it was brilliant. Can definitely see if someone wouldn’t share my love for it though. I’m different though. I went to school for film, so I look for technical ****. And technically, the film was perfection. Literally no room to improve. I’m also big into acting and the lead was incredible. They’re releasing a 3 hour NC-17 cut :o

Yeah technically it was impeccable. Ari Aster is one of the most gifted directors working today. I found “Hereditary” to be the best horror film in decades.

But that’s awesome, I’ve done my fair share of film work myself.

Are you still in the industry?
