That’s all I got. Let’s see what happens. Going to call him soon when he’s up and see if he wants to pop over here with me. So I’ll keep people posted if I go on a scouting mission.

KD was 100% leaving and that would have been after a 3-peat. AD hasn't shown he's capable of carrying a team to a championship so he needs other guys to carry. It's not like NO had absolutely no talent. Lebron will do whatever he feels like. 4 years in Miami, 4 years in Cleveland, will probably leave the Lakers after 4 years (maybe 5 since that is when his son is NBA eligible).

Playing with two other top 5 players is not something any other team can offer.

Why would he want that? He was the best player on a team that just won it all and has a chance to do it again. The competitor in anyone would want to repeat that. Not go to a cushy situation where at best he gets a third of the credit and at worst most of the blame.

Not to mention much more money here, bigger contract, bigger market, only superstar etc.

Seems like a no brainer to me but then again this is my perspective and not Kawhis. Hopefully he makes the logical and right decision

i'm pretty sure that kawhi, the reigning finals mvp, gets the most credit, and will not be blamed for anything. that's how you see kawhi leonard ? you want the mvp at any price but see him as the third wheel with the lakers? wooooow. what a double standard :banghead:

lebron will be the magic johnson and playing the playmaker, kawhi would be the 1st scoring option. trust me.

I've never been so affected over a free agency. This has literally affected everything I do, and I'm embarrassed to admit that. I just wished I didn't care as much. Here's hoping Masai gets this done....5 years, c'mon!!!

Cris Carter no news this morning. Sounds like Stein was right about everyone being told to keep quiet. Only thing Carter says is he thinks Kawhi should go to the Lakers because winning multiple championships is the #1 thing and he can do that with the Lakers.

Lol, Carter then tries to dismiss our front office like we don't have stability. Masai was rumoured to leave. We fired the coach of the year and traded the franchise player.

People should worry less. The guy is as good as gone. Let him go and we can rebuild. He never wanted to be in Toronto. He should have just told us he is not staying and remove all the emotions. I have moved on from the drama. All the hype is dead. We got our chips.

Hmm, it's weird. Word was that they've met with all 3 teams yesterday. Radio says they're meeting with Raps today.
