How about this trade I posted on the trade page?

From Boston:
Guerschon Yabusele
23 year old, 6-8, 260 lb PF from Rouen Métropole Basket (France)
No games yet played in 2019-2020

From Memphis:
Grayson Allen
23 year old, 6-5, 198 lb SG from Duke
No games yet played in 2019-2020

Easy enough. Deep bench PF for deep bench SG. Boston has run it's course with Yabusele, and he needs a change of scenery. Allen was just traded from Utah to be 1 of 6 SG's for Memphis. Yabusele would give some more size up front to Memphis. Allen would give Boston some toughness we are losing. Both players have team option for next season if it doesn't work out.

Also, you could team up Yabu with Yuta. lol

Allen certainly hasn't shown much of anything, but I think we would rather keep him over Yabusele. Like SD said in a different thread, we have a ton of forwards and need Allen at SG.

I think until we find or draft a high impact SG, we need everyone we can get in that position, as it is our worst position.

I'm not so sure Allen won't be waived before his contract ends as well so sadly this may not be that far off in value.

It was mentioned a couple of days ago that the Grizzlies have until mid October to extend on Allen's contract or decline his team option thus making him a free agent next summer.

Two very loose trade rumors:

Iggy for McCaw, Powell, 2021 TOR 1st Top 20 protected

Iggy for Lee+(a 2nd or two most likely, definitely not a 1st)

I wonder if Toronto would convey that pick given how much potential turnover they may have on their roster this season.

Those expiring contracts were purposely lined up .

Masai's top priority, is Giannis in free agency.

Norm for Iggy shouldn't hurt the Raptors in the short term, though Norm is playing well & Iggy isn't even playing. If it takes a late first to shed 10m cap & 30m in salary. The end game, if there is truth to this rumor, is Raptors are giving up Norm & late pick to sign Giannis in FA. Which easily justifies giving up the late first, considering how well the Raptors are currently playing. (15-30)

It was one of the main factors why Masai traded Jonas & Delon's impending contract extensions for Gasol's declining play, large expiring.

Raptors couldn't reach an agreement with Delon in season & cap space was not going to be tied up in resigning Jonas, if they didn't manage to trade him.

Norm & a late pick, is less about Iggy this year, as it is the 10m cap, 30m dump, savings, in order to target Giannis,

Completely agree that the value in the deal is coming from the fact that Iggy is an expiring deal as opposed to his on court value.

With the thread being full I have created a new thread for the trade talk as this thread will go to lockdown status.
