I'm liking our front office is showing some patience here and not just signing any bum who will take our money...if we are honest, Javale McGee ain't moving the needle for us all that much in the grand scheme. I'd rather let the dust settle a bit more.

It's not necessarily about moving any needle, it's just for insurance for Blake and Dre. Our front court presence is looking bare. Unless we're really banking on Thon playing 20+ mins a night, which is my own nightmare.

And Sekou will likely be G-league bound to get reps in before any real NBA court presence.

^Problem being we only have Thon Maker as our bench big. We're three deep in PF/CE.

We need two bigs really, and they're coming off the board quickly now.

Sekou will still be 18 yrs old the first three months of the season - doesn't turn 19yo until Dec 23rd. He's going to be no help - especially at PF this season.

top 15 picks are not in the g league..that's not who the g league is for. he will be playing and getting minutes

the pistons aren't being patient with javale..javale has the leverage and it's between us and the Lakers if kawhi signs there

He's going to play in the G-League in and out is what I meant throughout the season. He for sure will.

Yea, just wait, probably need to wait on K Leonard, but I think their will still be guys out there, Morris's/COusins/Faried etc.

Kawai signs a 1+1 deal with the Raptors and the LAC and LAL will be signing dudes to more money to get them on one year deals. That will be near $70M opened up for the free agent pool - if the players haven't signed at this point they're waiting for that.

Not likely. Top 15 picks aren't sent to the G-league, even by teams that are stacked, unless, after time, they prove themselves to be really struggling.

There is no excuse for Sekou not to get regular rotation minutes here. This is a .500 team going nowhere.

Considering the fact that Miami is looking to make moves with the Butler acquisition, would they want Blake or Drummond? They have zero assets for us, other than giving us a bunch of expirings and late 1st picks, but I feel like if we pushed for it, it would easily get done.

I’d give them Drummond but not Blake for some poo poo platter

Only asking because they're apparently interested in Beal, and would even try and take on Wall's contract to get Beal, which is insane.

I wanted McGee because it does make the option to trade Drummond more viable.
