From what I can tell, one of their mods is sitting in a hotel lobby for 3 hours, staking out a meeting that Kawhi isn't even at? lol, this is peak RealGM. Love it.

Here is something: There are about 25 reporters/journalists covering/writing about the Celtics via different media venues and we still don't have a clue whether the team is going to receive/give up a Draft Pick from the Rozier S&T? How is that possible?

Don’t understand the doom and bloom on radio and TV. Yes we objectively got worse exchanging Kyrie/Horford/Rozier/Morris for Kemba/Kanter/Langston//Williams. Last year on paper we were a 60 game winner. This year I project that to be a 48-50 win team. If they succeed at that, then they are a better team than last year who really were a 48 win caliber team in the end.

It is a legit mess. Dude going around claiming to be an insider saying he will PM people. Then you got people begging to be added to the PM list. And then you got people who are on the PM list coming in to give their reactions about the PM they got sent, but won't elaborate any further (e.g. "OMG MASAI DID IT!!) It is such a mess, that again, I can't stress this enough - thank the basketball gods that our insiders come here to drop info without wanting to be the next Woj or Shams Charania. Our guys come in, drop their info, and go on about their day.

Yesterday's was hilarious. Insider claims that there will be an announcement at 8 PM. 8 PM arrives and the insider claims that if anyone leaks any info, then he will take the rest of the night off, because he has been instructed by Kawhi's camp and the Raptors to keep all information silent. :crazy:

It is like watching a train wreck, but in super slow motion. I can't stop reading and laughing at these guys begging for info from these fake insiders.

The whole thing is. Rdambition got doxxed. He is apparently the nephew of Jeanie Buss. Everyone says privacy and no leaks is a big deal to Kawhi and his camp then you have Jeanies nephew running around reddit and then Twitter making statements about process. Overall the need for story breakers in this day and age is wild

That thread is nuts.. There are reddit guys stealing his stuff, a guy on twitter is stealing all his pics from the hotel and posting them as his own, people on the RGM board outing other people.

player for player we owe them, but it's not. We can sign Kemba with no trade, they can't take on Rozier without the sign and trade.

They owe us something, I'm guessing it's like a 2nd round pick in 2021.

I can't decide if Kawhi is taking so long to announce because he's going to the Lakers but wants to make it look like a hard decision or if it really is a hard decision. The cynic in me (who is mostly in charge these days) thinks it's the former.

Lakers have been way too loud in the media, especially about their confidence in landing him. Drake is trying to help Toronto and we've got camera crews now stalking Kawhi in Toronto. The quietest team has been the Clippers and I think that fits Kawhi the best.
