thats funny KOC...but if I were dolan- i would put an end to all these so called
excuses...I wish i could have dinner with dolan...first thing i would do is -publicly end all beef/issues
with former knicks and i would apologize to them -period. Offer them lifetime passes-etc
2. buy one of these buildings a cab ride away from the garden and build a sick facility with a view
that brooklyn could never match. And three- I would create a marketing campaign giving
all knick fans the opportunity make the knicks better with their own ideas...Pick 5 winners
and execute said ideas...I wish i could be dolan for a year

I bet Dolan owns 100 buildings that could come down and replaced with a new facility too.

It does all seem so simple. Dolan is really out of touch, not unlike Trump. It comes from growing up with that much wealth.

Edit - Don't forget, the sports part of the business is being spun off, so all of this could fade away pretty quickly. That might be a high level way to fix all of these issues.

As of right now, all the headlines they are getting is Knicks V. Nets. Unless they make headlines on their own, I don't see it. They still have to get the Knicks in there somewhere to get views/clicks.

Just look at the Clippers and Lakers. While Lakers sucked, Clippers had PC3, Blake Griffen, and DeAndre Jordan. They made the playoffs consistently. Were both LA teams and even shared the same arena. Yet, that city was still primarily Lakers.

Nets made the Finals....back to back, and STILL we were the talk of the town.

Barclays was originally going to be a much bigger and better project, but then the financing fell through when the market crashed in the Great Recession. So they scaled it down. Eerily similar to KD. He was going to go to the Knicks/MSG but then he tore his Achilles, Cray Cray Kyrie talked him into BK, and they scaled down the plan and settled for something ... a little less ambitious and grand.

I live in Bk and the Nets are not a hot attraction. They might get some band wagon fans but that’s it. Maybe actual Net fans would start coming out from Jersey. But they not taking knicks fans.
