I mean I could do without Powell as well, but to his credit he's been a big part of a 2nd unit that has just dominated. But he and Maxi have really different games, play different positions and have different roles.

Maxi is pretty much the analog of the modern big---he's mobile and can switch the PNR, he can protect the rim, and offensively he shoots just well enough to provide some spacing as well and he can also provide the vertical threat that Powell does so well.

Letting Maxi go would have really hurt. Powell much more of a luxury, but the team has loved him since he arrived with Rondo. So no surprise he got an extension.

What would you think about a THjr for Batum swap? Charlotte would need to give something and Dallas might have to add Lee as filler, but I like Batum on Dallas and if 2021 cap space is the idea I think that could work as well. And I think Hardaway's chucking probably makes for a more entertaining tank in Charlotte.

I've long been for THJ/Lee for Batum. Would definitely do that.

Another good signing at a great price. I hope he does well!

Same here, I just hope Dallas signs a better fitting PF who cna rebound and do the dirty work next to KP, someone like JaMychal Green.

JaMychal Green would fit like a glove. Good call.

I actually had a dream that we did a S&T of maxi and Brunson for marcus Smart, I was excited, overjoyed, exuberant, but then I woke up.

If you are looking for a cheap undersized combo guard, Kings have to make a decision on Yogi Ferrell on the 4th if not today.

The way things are looking I think there is a good chance he gets waived. Guy has looked promising in summer league. Cheaper and more control if the Kings keep Mason.

I wish you hadn't. Smart would be great here. And supposedly had the Clippers agreed to take Wes Matthews back in a trade for Jordan last summer, the Mavs were going to give a big offer to Smart and hope the Celtics wouldn't match so I know the team likes him too.

I think you guys finally cornered the market unless TJ Ford comes out of retirement.

Well we once ran the CJ Watson, CJ Miles, and AJ Price market. And the George Hill, Solo Hill, and Jordan Hill season. Also, Paul George/George Hill lineups constantly. We thrive.

I keep waiting for someone to bust out a Tarik Black/Jeff Green/Troy Brown/Derrick White/Derrick Rose lineup. I bet you guys could do it if you really applied yourselves.

I mean, it's all on the older guys staying in the league long enough for Troy Brown to possibly lose any value and be on a room exception or less kind of contract :dontknow:

-Kevin Love supposedly posted an instagram with the caption "Fun Guy" and the location was Canada
-Memphis may be looking at trading Avery? I assumed they were just going to waive him to stay below the tax. Also what the heck is going on with Delon Wright I wonder?

Don't know if it's been mentioned in here yet, but according to the transactions log Noel's contract is a minimum.
