Yeah, I’m not a fan of playing the “we signed your brother!” card and don’t really see Thanasis as either a rotation player or developmental prospect. Also might create an odd tension when Bud doesn’t play him or he gets thrown in a salary match to Memphis or whatever.

He’s not good at basketball. At all. You can keep Giannis happy without bone headed moves like this would be.

Hopefully it’s just leverage to drive up a new overseas deal. That’d be the best way for the Bucks to do the family a solid.

Nah, stuff gets weird with family. It’s not like signing a 10 year vet in Robin who’s proven himself. They’d only be on the roster because of Giannis and those situations never end well. We’ve learned time and again the importance of maximizing roster spots. In 2019-20 we can’t be blowing them on Greek DeAndre Liggins.

I find it hard to believe he would turn that contract down no matter what, but especially since we are going to be at least a ECF type team for the duration of it. We can pay him 5 for 250 while the competition can only go 4 for 150. That's such a big spread.

He's probably more Andre Roberson then Liggins. He's a top tier lock down defender with no offence besides dunks.
