Knowing that a meeting with Kawhi is basically the same as actually having the meeting with Kawhi from a results standpoint.

He wasn't gonna sign with us either way. As a team that realizes that, they had to move on. No need to play the dating game with one you know aint really interested.

Perhaps all these players could have been available, but would they still be available for the same terms? I doubt it. A good chunk of players didn't wait for Kawhi decision.

But I'll be shocked if he doesn't sign with the LeBron Lakers. If he wants to return to the So. Cal area he will end up there.

EP is a pg that Fiz wont have to fix. He can actually play the position already, but he's also been a guy that hasn't hogged up the minutes wherever he's played despite being a starter the majority of those games.

I can see him getting 25 minutes game on average, mostly to open games and close games.

This is true. We communicated everything we needed to with him with the deals we signed.

Why wait for kawhi? He wasn't coming. If the clippers are out of the kawhi sweepstakes then you know the Knicks had no chance.

Atleast with the guys we got we can use them as trade pieces for the future.

The thing about that is most of that kind of work is done behind the scenes anyway. As long as Mills has a line to Uncle Dennis theres really no need for us to waste our time with a meeting
