Delaying the trade only benefits the lakers, while pissing off Atlanta, Brooklyn, New Orleans, Memphis, Washington, Golden State. The rest of the teams can't proceed any further until this AD trade is done.
On top of that, AD waived $4 million to make this trade work tomorrow. If there's anything the AEG insider can finally get right, is that the Lakers are in complete shambles the longer Kawhi delays his decision.
they might be pissed, but they're so invested at this point, why would they not delay. makes no sense for any of them to pull out.
The trade will definitely be done, it hurts the Lakers because their incompetence didn't see the cap implications of the deal. Making the trade official without a Kawhi commitment leaves the Lakers at $27 million cap - which they no longer can offer a max.
