Just looking at the plane's past flight history, it takes about 4:20 to 4:30 to go from CYYZ to West Coast, and less time (~4:10) to come back to CYYZ. We can assume those flights had people.

No. Alan just said they were.

And the funny thing is regardless if Kawhi is on the plane or not there is not much you can take away from it either. Kawhi could have left earlier.

The only way you can connect dots is if you believe Alan is 100% correct and kawhi is not on the plane. Then, Kawhi would still be in TO and MLSE is not flying a plane for fun to SD. In that case they would pick up family members and it's a done deal.
