Different wind speeds heading east. My flights back from Vancouver are always faster.

Yes, the jet stream. Flight out to Calgary is usually an hour slower than coming back to Toronto.

Ok guys tell me wtf the speed of the plane has to do with it? It can be traveling with winds to make it faster, or it might be traveling against the wind to make it slower.

As someone who flies out west very often. The flight home is always faster. Usually 45 mins to an hour.
