Also it's a pretty silly thing to be arguing about for days. Whether you think he's 6'3 or not it's not gonna change anything about him or his game.

Yeah, no need to post more pictures because it is not needed to know how tall Rubio is. He has good size for a PG, so who cares. But it is funny that people believes everything that they read when we have eyes to see the reality ( if they want to).

Steve Nash was 6'3 at every site and obviously ESPN, but we all knew for just watching him in games that he was 6'2 (with shoes). And he said it himself.

Then why does EVERY picture make him look exactly 6-3 and NO picture make him look 6-5. Like you said. It really doesn't matter. But the photographic evidence he is 6-3. Same height as Steph and Nash.

Wow, who cares? His play matters. No one cares about height any more anyway....it's LENGTH! Or so she says.

Man I really hope Ricky gets the reigns to the offense again, watching him in Utah running that corner roll offense as a secondary ball handler for half the plays was depressing af.

Are you guys going to re-sign Oubre?

It appears we will re-sign him. The assumption is he's waiting for Kawhi to sign so he can try to see if any remaining team with money is willing to give him an offer. We're guessing 1 day after Leonard signs, we'll hear of Oubre's intentions. It's likely one, or all, remaining teams told him to hold off on signing just yet as they'll be interested if they don't get Leonard. Otherwise it makes no sense for him to continue holding out.

Or he could threaten to take the QO and hold out until September like Bledsoe did. Who knows? He probably hopes to get a big offer the Suns would have to think about matching, but I'd be kind of surprised if the Lakers or Clippers gave him that much money, and if they did, it would probably only be 1 or 2 years, if they are allowed to...in which case the Suns would probably match.

I really wouldn't mind this if it's either that or overpay by 3-5 mil.
We probably offered him 12-14 mil. He thinks he can get more and we told him, 'go find what you can...the offer will be here'

hi guys another Rubio fan but also big time fan of the D'Antoni 7 sec or less Suns. Two things i wanted to say. Firstly someone said Rubio was sad to watch in the playoffs. Taht is NOT true. Even the rubio haters in Utah admitted that more games than not he was by far the best Jazz player out there. Invest the time to watch the games, it werent so many. Snyder choked and came up with terrible defense and mitchell disappeared. Rubio played his heart out - as he always does - and won one game alone.

Secondly as for sagging off. Both the late Tibideau and Snyder insisted in parking rubio in the corner and have him play off the ball. THat is the worst possible scenario. When he has the ball in hand and people to pass to, you 'Ll see how he drives and takes one, two often three defenders with him . NOone sags off him when he isnt spot up shooter. So basically its all on the coach/system, not so much on him, how this season will go.

Is not Snyder considered one of the best coaches in the entire league?
How was he that dumb to not use such an amazing weapon to win games during two consecutive seasons?

Enjoy Rubio, the guy gives everything he has. Good luck with the fan base. You won’t be able to have objective conversations about your starting PG anymore.

Snyder is an okay coach in todays league. He has come up with an offensive system that works with the right personnel, and he isnt willing to make many adjustments. A great coach in my opinion is capable of coming up with a system that suits the players he has at hand, and brings forward their strengths while hiding their weaknesses. But there are many who run their stuff year in year out, Snyder isnt the only one and Rubio hasnt been the only one to suffer from it.

Wasn't he really good two years ago? The word here was that when Igor Kokoskov was there Rubio had his best season, but last year he struggled a bit more.

Obviously we don't want him playing much off ball, but hopefully he can improve his shooting because no one can be on ball 100% of the time....plus you don't want defenders just daring him to shoot when he does have the ball.

Snider is a good coach with a good system.
It's not the best system for Rubio.
Both the Jazz and Rubio were best to part ways and find better fits.

All of those can be true.

it's actually girth that's important.

...

Don't want some PG that's easy to push around. It's not like a PG hangs around the baskets looking for rebounds anyway, unless you're Russell Statbrook.

It was pretty obvious that this fit was not good in either those years. There are also other players who dont fit well into that system; what saved them was their defense. As i siad i thiink Snyder is okay, there are better and far worse coaches out there. He lacked the ability to make any in-game adjustments, and as said before he is unwilling to add to his system or make any deviations just because of his players.
As for your scenario of people sagging off when he has the ball, that does not happen. Once he has it he usually starts driving or PnR and will take a fair share of defenders with him and hit the open guy. He has stolen the "circle under the basket" thing we saw from Nash so much and can navigate in tight space. Nooen leaves him alone there.
