The guy still can't shoot or play defense. He is an average NBA PG and a backup at best.

He's just a shiny new object so everyone will make him out to be better than what he is.

Elfrid shoots 45 percent for his career not bad.

thats mostly inside the paint...he doesn't even try and attemp 3 point shots.

He really doesn't inhance RJ and Randle playmaking ability because no one will guard him off the ball

he basically Rondo without the IQ on offense.

I get having a lot of shooting, but you’re not signing those guys to let them rot on the bench.

Since they are 1+1, maybe it is a contingency since none of the signings are ironman.
Ellington missed 30 games last year, Elfrid missed 40 and 20 in last 2 years, Bullock played 272 in 6 years (around 45). It is highly possible that we will not see them on the bench (even at the practice) at the same time.

To say that... you really didn't watch him from his years in Orlando to his time in New Orleans. Last year he was more confident, especially before he got hurt and his shot (while definitely NOT a thing of beauty) is improved. And his defense is also not bad. In fact, he came into the league heralded for his defense.

Now, do I think Frank can reach this level? Yes! But Payton is no scrub

From the magic board they think frank rumors is trade for there forward/center khem birch a sign trade for frank. Khem birch can't find a team and according to the magic board they are doing him favor because they are loaded at the center position. Khem birch averaged 4 points and 3 rebounds and is 6foot9 center/ forward.

If they trade Frank for basically nothing just to get rid of him I just might go full hoodie up in here....
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Payton does play defense and the kid had 5 games in a row last year with triple doubles. Now i get the kid hasn't turned into what he should be compared to where he was drafted but he did play pretty dam well last year in the games he did play. Now go ahead and tell me how having 5 consecutive triple doubles isn't a big deal because he was on a bad team or because he was pad stating oe whatever else you're gonna come up with. Nobody on here is saying or has said that E.Payton is great or even good but comparing him to what we have he could easily win the starting job and comparing him to what Frank has been so far......well there is no comparison. Frank plays better defense but you're wrong when you say Payton doesn't play defense at all.

the moment the knicks worked out garland last minute incase rj was gone clearly showed the knicks don't think highly of dsj as an nba starting point guard.

maybe they should watch youtube highlights to change their minds :dontknow:

Garland and C.White last minute workouts.

I actually like Khem Birch a lot but Perry went full McHale this off-season stacking 1 position.
