How does someone who was "bred for this", literally has Steve Nash as his godfather, has been trained since being a toddler still suck at free throws?

Bro I'm fat and 5'9, played intermittently ever since I left college 8 years ago and I'm still shooting 60% from FT. This is unacceptable.
