Takeaways so far

Rj pressing a bit to show he’s in the same class with Zion
But he’s got talent that has flashed

Trier while a bucketgetter is a black hole at times and the ball stops at him.

Mitch has the young kid fouls in him , but man gotta love his potential.

Knox. Shot looks much cleaner and smooth release. Still would like to see him cut without the ball more.

Instead of telling RJ to faciliate and let the game come to him he specifically tells him to be aggressive so he has no interest in passing? Everyone just ISO and no one playing defense.

He's just not a PG, not now, maybe never

This team needs a PG right now

AND

They need to run basic plays like the PnR

I don't see jackchit being run, just freelancing

You can run PnR's in this game after a few coaching sessions, so I don't know what this coaching staff is teaching them

Freezing cold take: We have talent but our guys are too young and inconsistent. This is what a lot of our games are gonna look like this year again, people are kidding themselves if they expect us to win in the high 30s.

Hot take: Nola started playing better without Zion
