Free agents left

Post#1 » by jwise44 » Tue Jul 2, 2019 3:13 pm

Who could and should we look at?

I think Marcus Morris or Noah vonleh should be top of the list or rondae Hollis-jefferson

Next up would be Justin holiday or Stanley Johnson

I’m on my phone or I’d link all the free agents out there for y’all

Marcus Morris may be a good option imo. Big SF who can stretch the floor. But he has to come cheap.

Landing Marcus Morris for cheap would be a low key coup.
Come on back home Mook.

Noah Vonleh is off the board but perhaps JaMychal Green can still be had.

JaMychael Green would be solid. The guy is an underrated hustle who would fit well here imo.

What about Faried? Kyle Korver might be available... He'd have the greenest of lights with us

JaMychal Green, Marcus Morris, McGee, Oubre Jr, Dekker, RHJ, Faried.

Not sure how many of them we can afford. Not many I guess.

I feel like Iggy to Houston makes the most sense for Memphis (aka think you guys are the most desperate for an upgrade :D )

But we save the most money with you guys and I feel like Shump may be better than Lee as a player, mentor, and locker room guy.

If we get rhj and McGee, I’ll be happy

For some reason I have talked myself into them helping us...if not rhj then pleaaaase Justin holiday, but that report didn’t list us as interested in him

I get the feeling iggy doesn’t want to go to houston (I have that feeling completely without evidence)

He has shown potential (even looked good at times), is young, and is a big wing that can play d

Who is left that we can get that’s better and can still get better? Morris? He isn’t coming for what we can offer him. Holiday, possibly, but they released something earlier about his suitors and we weren’t on it

I'd rather sign someone like Thabo. Lower ceiling but higher floor

Yes to McGee

No to RHJ

Agree about Iguodola (although I'd still take a shot if it's for Shump and a 2nd rounder)

Why everybody hate rhj? Dude has shown some serious potential at times

Out of what’s left that we can afford, he has shown to be a rotation level player and he’s bigger than holiday (who I also would want)

Jeremy Lin's a free agent too

But seriously, it's a trip to think just 5 years ago all three were rotation players for the young up-and-coming Rockets.
Now they'll each be lucky to get a vet minimum deal anywhere.

Ok so now I’m hoping for Khem birch and rhj or Stanley Johnson

(Because I don’t believe iggy or Justin holiday want to be here)

Funny enough....d12, parsons and Lin fit what we need on our bench perfectly if any of them could stay healthy

Return to Houston Rockets
