This means Westbrook and Adams are gone. No way they stay through a rebuild.

Kawhi trying to top an Earthquake
The hero Orlando deserves is out there somewhere, Dwight was not the one we needed. So we will hunt for him...

Raptors just fell apart. We are legit a top 5 seed right now. East is to be had this year.

agreeing with this. dont think raptors are a top 4 team anymore, sixers arguably are worse than last season too. if fultz does come back strong... we do have a solid chance of getting to atleast the ECF

It's definitely good news for us, but we are still probably fighting with Miami and Detroit for the last two spots in the playoffs.
Toronto was really good in the 22 games that Kawhi missed last year.
Philadelphia and Milwaukee are obviously ahead of us still. Brooklyn, Boston, and Indiana should be as well.
What we have working in our favor is that nobody else is really going to put in an honest effort to get to the playoffs.

Toronto is going sink 6th seed at best to me unless Siakiam takes a giant F*en leap. I think we are a better squad now. Only teams I can definitely better than us is Philly and Milwaukee. On paper Indiana, Boston and Brooklyn should be better. Out Dipo coming off serious injury, Boston adding new players and Brooklyn won't be as good as advertised without KD. Kyrie can't really lead a team to me. Plus we have stability on our side. I really like our chances, especially if Fultz can be anything close to a number 1 pick.

Toronto is still a 48 win team at least, probably better without Kawhi. But maybe they tear it down. Without Fultz there is a higher chance we get a top 8 pick, than having homecourt in the PO. We are one 15-20 game injury of DJ away from a collapse imo.

Also I bet anything Toronto goes hard for Wiggins now. Helps the sting of losing Kawhi bringing the prodigal son home. Makes fans happy plus he probably won't leave being from there.

That would be recipe for failure for wiggins. Having to "replace" kawhi after he just won them a finals championship, theres really nothing wiggins can do, short of winning another finals, without looking like a failure
I mean i guess Wiggins might get a little bit of leeway because of the canada connection, but if he doesnt win, it wont last

And if he doesn’t win, you’re stuck with his huge contract. I would say he has the worst contract in the league right now.

why would they tear it down. they won a lot of games without Kawhi. And Ujiri proved he can build a contender. I dont see him staying put throughout the year with the team as is, unless they continue to win
