Maybe the handful of games for Memphis at the end of season gave him some life but ah how do you explain his season for the Clippers?

He played relatively poorly for 50 games is how I would explain it I suppose?
He's still a guy who's capable of completely dogging players defensively while being able to kock down an open shot.
"Fallen off a cliff"? Nah. Certainly proved that with Memphis.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

I think he'd be a solid add for us given what else we have. I'd be concerned though.

Hes really not that far removed from his time in Boston where he played consistently good. And showed a little life in Memphis last year to end the year. I wanted him over Wes tbh.Baddy Chuck wrote:Avery Bradley would be a great signing and "fallen off a cliff" is too widely thrown around here.

1) unload Ilyasova for anything to sign Hill, keep Leuer. No need in losing assets there or making more dead money.
2) Use the Brogdon exception to get some picks from teams that want to avoid the tax.
3) Play Brown, DDV, Wilson 20+ minutes in the regular season. Bud needs to make them really good assets.
Washington will have to blow it if they suck in the first 20-30 games. IND 2020, MIL 2024 FRPs, Bledsoe to a third team for one more FRP to WAS and some of Brown, DDV, Wilson could make it done.
mkegb wrote:I would much rather go after GALLINARI. Not sure if OKC would do this but maybe they will value more picks.
Ersan, Leuer and all three picks from Brogdon
for
Gallinari
That would give us a real nice team that would work well together.
Bled/Hill
Middleton
Gallinari/Wes
Giannis
Lopez/Lopez

HORRIBLE! So basically, Brogdon, Ersan, a first round pick and two seconds for Gallinari. Jerry West you aren't.

You underestimate, as do others here, Ilyasova's contributions. I haven't seen one good Ilyasova trade on here. Losing Brogdon and Mirotic and then Ilyasova? Do you value outside shooting at all?
