Durant being injured changed everything. Doesn't seem like Kawhi wanted to go to LA alone, but rather gave them time to work out the trade. Obvious he wanted LA the entire time though.

It shows that superstars want to play with other superstars. It makes the Knicks trading KP a lot worse. I don't care if Porzingis didn't want to be here, the Knicks failed to make the guy happy and lost their biggest pitch to recruit top free agents in a year in which they needed to sign superstars. Poor job by Dolan, Mills and Perry.

Makes you wonder... if our team overachieves and the lakers underachieve what ADs head will say

LeBron's too old and I don't put my trust into Kuzma like he's a star.

Lakers roster is pretty much empty and they traded away all their draft capital. They pretty much pulled a Knicks/Carmelo knowing that AD could sign with them next off-season.

Miss me with LeBron has a small window. If AD is a future move, who cares if he plays with LeBron or not. They screwed themselves with that trade.

I really do hope we can sneak with a 8th seed Playoff berth.

I woulda been mad if the raptors got a big 3 of Westbrook/George/Kawhi. Craptors back to the lottery now where they belong

No one wants the nonsense that comes with being Lebron's teammate.

I don't know how true it is but there are reports out there that KD was discouraged when KP was traded from the Knicks.

KP was too high maintenance. He was making demands despite never having led his team anywhere for more than a couple of weeks.

And the idiot brother was always going to be a problem.

Porzingis and Doncic couldn't even recruit anyone. Dallas is sitting on 30mil while the best player on the market is broken down Cousins.

They're pretty fringe. They have a lot of good guys, but they're either old and declining (Lowry, Gasol, Ibaka) or young but not good enough to carry a team (VanVleet, Siakam, Anunoby, Powell)

The good news for them is their big contracts all expire this year so they'll have cap space for next year. The bad news is they're still the Raptors

But they got a ring out of it, so it was probably worth it

All he did was wait until players could sign their contracts, and i think i heard on Nate Duncan's podcast that Kawhi has to sign his contract before the Clippers trade for George because of some contract rule.

I just really don't like Russ. Too many red flags. Dude who relays on his athleticism, is in his 30, and already lost his shot. Plus all his stat-padding tendencies. I always found it strange how someone who plays with 110% energy can be so about himself, rather than a team.

you’ll have a lot of time to figure that out rj gonna be here for a while

There's at least 29 teams better than us. That's not saying much
