I know it sucks to lose PG but that's quite the haul for okc.

Kudos to them

Should we approach OKC for Russ or SGA?

Monk and a heavily protected first for SGA and a 2nd?

I don't want Russ. Guys obviously don't want to play with him

Call me crazy but I think that’s a MASSIVE over pay for George.

I mean, he’s good, but he’s 30 years old and is he going to be the #1 guy or is Leonard going to be the #1 guy?

The Clippers just punted a massive amount of future capital for Paul.

5 x 1st round picks (4 unprotected)
2 x pick swaps
Gilgeous-Alexander
Gallinari

That’s huge. That feels lot more than what the Pelicans got for Davis - who is younger AND better than George IMO.

Kawhi wouldnt sign without PG so they pretty much paid that for PG and Kawhi.

It's clearly championship or bust for the Clippers. Jerry West threw the kitchen sink at OKC to acquire Kawhi + PG.

Be on the lookout for Westbrook to the Knicks.

They better not trade Barrett for him.

Maybe the Lakers would take Batum?
A free acquisition of an NBA vet who loves to defer and pass...hmm
Do they have any short bad contracts to ship out in return?

Paul George traded....Westbrook being shopped....should Hornets ho after Adams?

Biz, MKG, two 2nd round picks for Adam's

OKC grabs a couple 2nds and get 2 expirings

Hornets roll out

Rozier, Graham
Bacon, Monk
Miles, ???
Marvin, PJ
Adams, Cody

No Kemba, but a much better defensive and rebounding lineup

With Kawhi gone, I guarantee Jordan and Kupchak are targeting upgrades for a playoff berth. I like Adams, but that deal feels heavy. I also think it won't be worth it without adding a scorer in the same deal or separate deal.

GM's phones must be buzzing hard now that Kawhi unclogged the drain in Toronto and in LeBron's bathroom.

apart from the stunning news of George joining Kawhi in LA, what's interesting to me about this trade is that after the draft day trade last year of SGA for Miles Bridges word came out that SGA wanted to be in LA. I think CHA knew this, and, happy with Bridges, selected SGA to extract a pick from LAC.

SGA and his camp can't be happy about SGA being dealt to OKC

don't see OKC moving him though. highly coveted already as a young oversized PG who showed playoff metal in year one he was a key piece of this trade

I think SGA is the future after they find a trade for Westbrook

Kawhi gone, Durant to miss a year for Nets, Butler and Redick gone from Philly.....the East is weaker with the Bucks being favorites

This is the first time I'm reading that SGA wanted to be in LA. This makes the Miles trade even better, then.

Well the Sixers have Simmons - Richardson - Harris - Horford - Embiid. They're the team to beat. The Bucks are right there with them.

After that, it's an open field in my not-so-humble opinion.

True. Also I'm not so sure how impactful SGA is in this trade. He wasn't enough to prevent 5 first round picks being included in this deal, including an unprotected first from a very fragile Miami Heat team.

I'm sure if we offered a team Bridges + 5 picks, one without protection, we could make a play for a comparable player.
