Russell westbrook would instantly give this franchise the credibility its severely lacking.

If we can get it done while keeping mitch rj and knox you have to go all in.

Going after Westbrook is the worst move the Knicks can make

Dude's gonna be making almost 50 million at age 33 as a player whose game relies on athleticism

You trade for him, you're locking yourself into the team you have cause you can't sign anyone due to his contract. Least no one good, best player you get is maybe Draymond Green next year

Be a classic Knicks move
BaF Lakers:

Nikola Topic/Kasparas Jakucionis
VJ Edgecombe/Jrue Holiday
Shaedon Sharpe/Cedric Coward
Kyle Filipowski/Collin Murray-Boyles
Alex Sarr/Clint Capela

Bench: Malcolm Brogdon/Hansen Yang/Rocco Zikarsky/RJ Luis Jr.

It's like we didn't suffer enough after the Melo trade. People just want to recreate 9 years ago all over again.

mitch gives you what kp gave you on defense and randle will give you the offense. it's not much different.

u think we win over 30 games?

30 sounds about right

i would rather tank outright but with the lottery like it is now, it's ok. nobody from the east is winning a title any time soon anyway.

Side note: wasn’t even a whisper about PG13 being moved or wanting out. None of these reporters know a gotdamn thing.

So people including myself were willing to give a one legged KD full max at 31 with no certainties he ever comes back healthy but then are like nah look at Westbrook and his contract..you can’t have it both ways, if you were against signing KD and I know there were several then you have every right to say no to Westbrook, if you were like me ready to go through with KD you should feel the same about Westbrook

How could you not want to trade scrubs like dsjr frank and trier for a talent like that??

Only knick fans man smfh.

The Raps just rejected a trade of Westbrook and PG for Siakim

that should tell you how low westbrook's value is. PG was co-MVP, in my eyes, with giannis this season. yet, westbrook brings down his value THAT much.

westbrook would be an atrocious acquisition for the knicks.

i didn't think there'd ever come a day when i thought there'd be something worse than the melo trade.

but acquiring westbrook would be absolutely atrocious for the knicks. it probably wouldn't set the franchise back as much as the ****, horrible melo trade. but it would bring nothing but seats to the stadium, inflated ticket prices, and loads and loads of losses.

i've been anti-durant since day 1, and i will be for a long time. i will, and forever, be anti-westbrook.

only way i'd take westbrook is if he can accept a 6th man role on a vet min contract

The difference is that Durant is actually a highly efficient basketball player proven to impact winning at the highest level in the biggest moments, and it's worth it to take the chance at the small odds of him recovering fully happen.

Westbrook is essentially the opposite of that. There's no hope that he becomes anything else at this point.

Unless players are juicing, they're not the same in their mid-30s.
