I wouldn't want him if he was on one of these 4 year $160 mil contracts like KD and Kyrie got. He's a selfish player who not all his teammates like. He's had some of the best players in the NBA playing with him and hasn't won anything significant.

I don’t think WB is as bad as he was last year, but damn that contract is terrible

My guess - WAS trades Wall and a buttload of assets for him

it sucks that this has happened. but you're right about the east not winning, minus maybe the bucks, but i doubt that.

that's why i'm okay with acquiring picks with bad contracts for now. might as well starts now.

now let's say RJ/mitch/whoever make major leaps in the next 2-3 years, the picks can be used for trades to get a superstar who wants out of their current team. may not be needed for the draft itself, but for a team that will want to get something from a superstar that didn't pan out for them.

example: maybe giannis does an AD, and expresses wanting to get out of the bucks because they won't win with their core.

i don't want to deviate from my anti-knox stance (despite his solid play during SL yesterday), but if okc wants knox, trier, dsjr for SGA, i'd do it in a heartbeat. not sure i'd want to move picks, though. for me it'd depend how dallas does this season. if dallas overplays this season, i'd do that with one of their picks for SGA - but like you said, i doubt they do it.

knox hitting 3s and doing some work in transition is fine as a stretch 4. he’s just not a primary creator or 3 on defense.

The best part of all of this is the Nets basically went "all-out" to be the talking point of the NBA for less than 24 hours. I have no strong opinion about the Clippers aside that they are going to make LeBron age exponentially faster, but the way they stole the Thunder out of everyone else's offseason pleases me greatly.

and the clippers wouldn't have been a playoff team without Kawhi so not sure it matters. And we have no idea what the west will look like in a year...we don't own the mavs pick next year...its the 2021 pick.
