And it really translates into great team basketball and team success...doesn’t it? Watching Russ dribble the air out of the ball for 22 seconds and then clang a pull-up 3 while Giannis watches from the wing with his hands on his knees is kind of my dream.

I actually like watching the Bucks. Don't make me hate watching the Bucks by trading for Westbrook.

Westbrook would be fun at first, but I'm sure we'd regret it later (insert junk food or dating analogies here). You might get some highlights and mentions in the "superteam" conversation, but you'd also have to live with a lot of overconfident bricking of shots, and taking the ball out of Giannis' hands.

For a guy who would take the ball out of Giannis's hands bricking shot after shot while Giannis stands there and watches with his hands on his hips.

It amazes me that people want to intentionally hurt chemistry so they can acquire a big name without any regard for just how bad it would hurt the team.

Why do we ignore chemistry like it has absolutely no barring in success?

Giannis and Bledsoe get along. They both made first NBA defensive team and were major contributors to a 60 win, ECF team (which is now even more wide open). Hell they are even vacationing in Greece together right now.

Do not mess up what we have right now in a clear path to the Finals and a Giannis extension for the sake of Russell F*** Westbrook.

I don’t think Russ is twice as good as Bledsoe to warrant the contract disparity and shaking up the chemistry.

Especially when our greatest need is 3-point shooting.

we need a PSA about the TPE.

the TPE can't be combined with players, only picks.

keeping an open mind about Westbrook, you can't assume that he would be the same player he is in OKC. OKC is his show, he does what he wants. Think about what everyone thought of Boogie Cousins before he went to GSW. He shows up in a brand new, winning culture where he's not the alpha and he's just one of the guys from a temperament perspective.

I'm not saying definitely do it, i'm just saying I think he could be molded.

I can't believe anyone could watch Westbrook this season and go, "Yeah, sign me up for 4 years of that at the super-max to put alongside Giannis". C'mon, this board is smarter than that. Stop salivating over name guys who aren't elite players anymore.

He's a much better player than Mirotic and this is one of those moves that I think would really solidify us as title favorites even with the movement to the West. I do wonder if there's something to a Ersan/Leuer/Pacers picks for Gallanari's expiring move that could go down.

You'd need a 3rd team to make salaries match but that shouldn't be too difficult considering both Leuer and Ersan are expiring as well, and it's not like Ersan is some unplayable scrub. Get it done Horst.

Because we suck at drafting. I'd include DDV or DJW with the picks and whatnot. But I'm sure you guys are right. We ain't getting him for our "assets".

Westbrook ruined Giannis's chance at an All-Star MVP last season. Gallo would be dope though. Leuer/Wilson/Ersan/1st get it done.
