is westbrook going to come back next year with an improved jump shot? will his free throws be fixed? even the most ardent westbrook fans are probably unsure at this point. and that's on him.
Would the thunder have been better with legitimate NBA wings at any point in the last ten years? There's plenty of blame to go around here, it's certainly not all on Russ, or even mostly. It's odd that you're so anti player in this instance.

sam presti failed at putting talent around westbrook and durant for several years. i'm talking about now. the thunder's worse performance and failure to get better even though paul george turned into one of the best players in the league is squarely on westbrook's decline more than anything. shams reported westbrook was unhappy prior to the paul george trade. that may be true or not. if it is true, it betrays the usual sense of obstinate lack of introspection we've come to know from westbrook regarding his own performance.

It sucks for us almost all the tradable assets on Orlando can't shoot. The one who can and is interesting just tore his ACL.

Re: Thunder Offseason Thread
A lot of the frustration is with the moves we made or didn't make over the last ten years. I get that but its all coming to a head with the trade which resulted in an unprecedented return. I wouldn't care if Presti left but I just dont feel like griping about the harden trade because of what happened today. George requested a trade that they weren't expecting. Russ declining is a real deal. I want to win and it wasn't happening in any realistic way with the current roster. George may have saved Presti from himself.

I like Isaac but I don't really like any of Orlando's current players, especially Fultz.

I wouldn't want Fultz if he was free. Isaac is the guy I'd want, too. Okeke has promise I think and we can let him rehab in peace.

Gordon and Isaac would be interesting.
SGA/Ferg/Gordon/Gallo/Steven is a competitive bad team.

i wouldn't mind gordon in a westbrook trade only because his salary is declining and he could be a huge asset towards the end of his deal as the cap continues to increase.

I would think if Orlando traded Gordon then they would want to keep Isaac. Maybe they would move Bamba?

He's a good fit with Gallo too, can be a 4 on offense and guard 3s. We need obviously need top end talent, and a real starting 2, but I'd enjoy a team of above average players that's still bad enough to be in the lotto.
What's available for Grant? Any youngish 2's?

That would be cool with me too, either way you get a solid player and a prospect.

Bamba was good prospect an Orlando gave up on him after like 2 weeks. I never understood why there were reports they wanted to trade him last season. Let him learn behind Adams for a year or two and don't overpay when his rookie contract is up.

Listened to the section on Russ's trade value-
Lowe said if you traded Russ without attaching a first that is a win. Also said he doesn't think the Wolves would do Wiggins for Russ straight up. Woj offered the Rockets, Pistons, Knicks and Miami as potential destinations BUT it was all speculation. Got the impression neither of them really knew much and were offering their personal opinions.
PS: Lowe really seems to hate Westbrook lol. It was mostly him just talking about how little trade value he thinks Westbrook has. Even threw out a John Wall for Russ deal and said the Wizards would "maybe" have to throw in one pick just because Russ is "ambulatory".

I think he's right but I kind of feel like momentum is on our side. Like you always say with basketball, it's all about who has the hot hand/clutch gene. Right now its sam.
