Nuggets are getting little respect here... both LA teams are going to be pieced together and will need to learn to gel.
The Jazz had a huge, but under the radar off season, they look legit.
The Clipps at least have a good coach and solid upper management, the biggest issue I see coming up for them is depth and that Kawhi is somewhat fragile and they won't be able to load manage him in the west as much as the Raps were able to with a deeper roster in a weaker conference.
The Lakers management is just a joke, the coaching situation is precarious at best, LBJ has given up on playing defense in his old age and AD hasn't lead a team anywhere yet, these poll results are wishes and dreams right now.

I am going to be a homer here and still go with the

1. Lakers
2. Clippers
3. Golden State
4. Houston - unless they trade Westbrook or Paul for draft picks

The Clippers won't be a joke though

I would rate top 5 teams in the west in this order: Jazz, Clippers, Denver, GSW, Portland. Lakers may make playoffs but not higher than 7-8 seed.

Lakers and Clippers will battle for the top positions in the Standings. As of right now, the Lakers have a deeper team and still under the salary cap. Props to the Lakers for having their back up plan ready and sprung into action quickly

In addition the Lakers were smart not to look at Chris Paul, Dwight Howard or Carmelo Anthony. Thank you Lakers for not being stupid

Good team, but I expect the Utah Jazz to be better. But the top line up could easily be, but not necessarily in this order

Lakers
Clippers
Portland Trail Blazers
Utah Jazz
Golden State Warriors
Denver Nuggets
Houston Rockets
San Antonio Spurs

Clippers have a better team on paper, but Lakers have more experience with LBJ and the veterans.

I'd pick the underdog Lakers to be on top.

Pretty awesome the West is at a point where this poll is 13 teams deep.

The first 11 of them have a legit argument. Thats really good.

Somebody from the 3 of the 11 that miss the playoffs will get fired, unfortunately.
